      Hi Julia,

I am still pre-op, but I do see many posts about WLS revisions. I think you can have surgery again. I"m not sure if insurance will cover it with only 50 lbs to lose, but I think so if you have other medical issues. It certainly doesn't hurt to go to a consultation and ask. A lot of Doctors give the consultations for free.

Good luck & I think you can have a revision surgery.

  2. Can't wait to say goodbye to this body....

Our stats are very similar and my surgery date is also July 30th. Talking to people who have gone through this on this board is very helpful. Wish you a speedy recovery.

  3. I want this surgery so bad but please pray that i can quit smoking for a month. I read where a girl messed hers up and I think they should give us tragic events.

I filled up a jar with cigarette butts & ashes & kept it tightly sealed in a kitchen cabinet. Every time I wanted a cigarette, I would take out the jar, put my nose to it & smell. It somehow took my urge to have a cigarette go away. It was gross, but it worked. That was 1991 & I haven't smoked since. I was a 3 pack a day smoker. They didn't have patches & gum back then that I knew of. You can do it!!!!!
