No problems with beer here. I dont drink alot but when I have 1 I drink MGD lite, it only has 60 some calories I believe. My dr doesnt seem to have a problem with it. How is it going to stretch your pouch, you burp like you always did, its not sealed shut.(pouch)

Heres what I dont understand about dems. I just heard Chris Coons(and Ive heard a few other dems say they want to extend) on CNN say he would vote to extend the Bush tax cuts! He said the term would be the issue. So its either a good Idea or it isnt! Dems were against the idea up until recently. Are they caving to rep pressure. Theyre also distancing themselves from Pelosi and even Obama in some cases. Whats going on, Im so confused again!

Dont mistake hurt(too fast or too big of a bite with restriction). Im not trying to be a know it all but I found out on Wednsday when I went for a fill. I assumed because I felt discomfort after a few bites (not all the time)I had restriction. My PA told me I shouldnt feel pain to know when Im done eating. He said I was eating too fast or too big of a bite or not chewing enough. He asked how much I can eat when I concetrate on chewing etc I can still eat alot when I dont feel pain. He said when you have proper restriction and do everything properly you shouldnt feel pain, you will just feel "full" sooner(less food)!

I wondered about the same things as you pre-band. Now I dont care what anyone thinks. Im off all meds, am healthier because of it. I still have a long way to go but Ill get there. Its not an easy way out. I thought I wouldnt need a fill because I did well in the first 6 weeks but I was so wrong. You dont owe anybody an explanation, you owe a longer, healthier life to you first, then your family. From there, to heck with everyone else!

I know this is an older story but Im just reading over it again because this site (LBT) has become so repetetive and boring. The economic failure wasnt caused by our military being stationed in Germany, Korea or Japan. Iraq, Afghanistan yah, part of the problem. But mostly by corporate greed!

To Bamagirl, everyone should marry a 10! If your future husband doesnt believe your a 10(it sounds like you dont believe your a 10, thats a big problem in and of itself) you shouldnt have married him! If you dont feel your boyfriend/girlfriend, fiance, spouse is a 10 well, maybe you will with your next relationship. I think the problem today is people just settle for whatever reason. When you buy a new car you usually buy what you want, otherwise it would be hard to make the payment every month. Why settle on the biggest decision you will make in your life? Theres no happiness with just settling. Jackie, I hope it takes more than money to make you happy because you cant always count on the money being there, especially in this economy. Again Im not preaching. Im sure your all aware of what Im saying, Im just giving my opinion.

I married a 10 and will be celebrating my 11th anniversary tomorrow! I dont fault people for being "picky". I dont believe people are shallow because they prefer a certain type. I believe theres someone for everyone, you just have to make sure your happy. I was a little overweight when I met my wife, she was and still is skinny. She prefers "huskier" men. I prefer thin women. I have a skinny friend who prefers heavy women. If your attracted to skinny 10s and get rejected by one that doesnt mean the next one wont like you. I know Im not saying anything new here. My point is I married a 10, Im overweight shes not and we're celebrating 11 happy years together!

I like my physicians assistant even more then. Everything you say makes sense. People need to realize what your saying because otherwise they, myself included, had no way of knowing how to lose weight properly. Everyone focuses on the results they see when they step on the scale which isnt always the best indicator of body tronsformation. I went to have a fill today and was upset to see I only lost 2.1# since the last visit about 2 months ago. I explained to my PA that I dropped 2 pant sizes(actually I keep my big belt and keep putting more holes to make it smaller), Ive made 2 holes since last visit. Anyway, he asked me whether I wanted a fill because cutting food consumption to the point of starving myself of the proper cals is not the Idea. In my case it is more that my diet (times I eat each meal) fluctuates too much. I usually get up at about 5:30 each morning, I might not eat until 1, 2 or 3:00 in the afternoon because Im busy but when I do eat I am so hungry but because I cant get volume I starve myself of the proper cals so my body goes into starvation mode! Then I might not eat again until 7-8:00 pm, then Im hungry at night also. He told me to keep protien bars or some light snack with me to help because its easier to make bad food choices when your hungrier(very true in my case). He explained what I always hear, the band is a tool, this is a lifestyle change but today it makes more sense to me that diet alone wont get me to where I want to be. Then it was also good to see this post by you Brad. Thanks for the info, I dont question why your so up on this topic. The way I usually learn is by experiencing it myself. I would be so bored in school during this subject but Im very interested now. I appreciate your knowledge and most of all your input.

People in this country are spoiled. We take too much for granted. You have Afghans, Iraqis so happy to have the opportunity to vote that they risk their lives so they can possibly make their lives better.

Even though it would be too late now, I think it would have been easier to accept if they had done something like the plaque your talking about. Maybe they would be accepted more if they would express their disgust with 9-11, more in the public eye. Im sure theres a few who have and still do but Im not hearing about them.

I listened to Glen Beck yesterday. He was defending his rally from comments made by Sharpton and others. Very dramatic as usual I might add! He made me laugh because he put his head down then in dramatic fashion looked up and said,"Im just an average American like you". and he actually gets people to believe he is "just an average American". I got a message for all you nutty Glenn Beck lapdogs, He aint even close to being average. He makes millions of dollars from these events, he takes your money and laughs at you all the way to the bank! He's rich, why wouldnt he try to persuade you nuts who believe him to vote republican! And he claims he's independent!! I quit believing him a few years ago but I thought even though I dont agree with any of his views he's a sincere guy. Well I lost any respect I had for him when he made fun of Obamas daughter. Its not even that its Obamas daughter(yes it is), its the fact that he wants everyone to believe he's so genuine. He' just like the rest of them. I can just picture him calling you lapdogs a bunch of idiots and laughing his a$$ off(off camera) while he's counting his money!

I agree to a certain extent. My idea is to get our troops out and let the CIA and Special Forces do thier jobs. Both are affected by this war by not being able to use their full knowledge and resources! The military is trying to build a nation that quite simply wont happen! As poor and ineffective as Afghanistan seems or seemed to us, its actually one of the most important strategic locations in the world, many ethnicities, and a culture of war and killing dating to beginning times. We will never change that! In the beginning it was just, but now after many different ideas about our role there its time to get out of the money pit. I said this before and Ill say it again. Osama Bin Laden has a good effective plan on how to bring down a superpower. Get us into a long drawn out "bloody" war to drain us of our will and economy. It worked against the USSR and now look at us! Its more noticable with us because as we go the world goes! The CIA would be far more effective if our military wasnt there!
