My brother-in-law is a Civil Engineer. He works for Fema in Calif. because it pays more Im sure!(He doesnt work as an engineer for Fema).

People of the Tea Party also fail to realize, like you've said in the past, Bush had one of the biggest beauracracies in homeland security. I dont have a problem with beauracracies, they create good paying jobbs. Would you rather work for the gov making $60,000 + a year or Walmart making maybe $10,000 a year? I know im all over the place here.

What really bothers me is after all the protesting, they still feel its ok! The majority of Americans feel its not! Its like theyre doing it just to pi$$ people off because legally they can. Sorry, if you want me to learn about Islam move it further away. Besides, Ive learned enough about Islam by going to war with them. Ive learned that the so called moderates dont open their mouths in protest of the very "small" number of radicals. They keep to themselves which in itself seems suspicious! People come up with the arguement about Tim Mcveigh being American. The # of non-muslim Americans is very small compared to the # of muslims in this country who have been arrested for terrorism over the last 5-10 years.

Can anybody tell me what Bush did to make our country better? Also why is Obama expected to turn everything around in 19- 20 months? Like Ive said in the past, Im independent(my wife might disagree)and dont care who fixes the economy as long as its fixed. Im quite sure Bush made this problem though! It definitely seems to me that the reps would rather see Obama fail so they can look good come election time. This coming from someone who in the past thought everything Hannity and Beck said was the gospel. Ive come to grips with the fact that being independent Ill never have a legit candidate so I have to vote for the person whose ideas are more in line with mine.

] Thats pretty good! Actually I like Patty. Even though I've said things about her I like her. I do think she's a good person. She just has different views and opinions and who am I to say whether hers are right or wrong. Because I disagree with some things, ok, most things she, ok, everything she says, in her eyes shes right. Thats one of the many things that make this country the best in the world.(I guess any country thats democratic). That leads me to my next question(which has nothing to do with Patty saying goodbye), If a country like ours is democratic, why be republican, its not republicratic?

Another thing, we would just be buying time ourselves if we go to war with Iran. We're in no position to implement regime change in a country as big as Iran and the next leader might even be worse! He might actually keep his mouth shut. Ahmadinijad runs his mouth, makes us suspicious of him.

Let me explain my answer better. I believe we dont have a choice. Its better if we do it rather than Israel. I just dont know what would happen to the world/economy! However the alternative is unthinkable! Iraq is going to get alot worse, Iran is going to ratchet it up over there to buy time. They will probably start another proxy war with Israel via Hizbollah. I dont want to sound like a warmonger but if or when we decide the time is right we need to include Syria because without Iran and Syria theres no more Hizbollah or support for Hammas! The day Sadams sons where killed I was doing a job at a hotel near the Pittsburgh airport. There was a muslim man watching the breaking news at his kiosk. He told me the US needs to "take out Iran and Syria, it would only take us about a month"! He told me Iran sabre rattles like Sadam! A war with Iran would surely be ugly so we may as well do the job right and include Syria(the two biggest state sponsors of terrorism in the world) because the alternative would be unbearable! As time goes by its not going to get any easier. I think we already waited too long! Thank Bush again for the Iraq debacle, that limited what we can do about Iran!

You can tell election time is coming. Fox is talking about how Obama might not be Christian because he practices his faith at Camp David with no camera access and how he flip-fopped about the mosque! Again, Im so bitter and angy, why do I insist on watching that crap! CNN even seems to be crossing the line a little more than they used too but theyre 2 totally different worlds!

I seem to remember 1 or 2 stimulus attempts by Bush. The $600.00s he sent to working Americans so they would spend it to stimulate the economy, that worked well. I did appreciate the handout though, its very rare that a rep gives handouts! With that being said, it just gives truth to the fact once again that Bush created this mess!

This has nothing to do with cons, liberal. I saw on cnn that Lebanon is sending a flotilla of female activists with medicine to break the Israeli blockade! Really, female Muslim activists! If they act out against their own countries theyll be brutally stoned to death! The next flotilla will be full of children. They know we westerners have a conscience( republicans excluded!) so theyre playing that card! I just realized after re-reading, the word con in consrevative, how ironic!
