  2. Thank you and Congrats to you too!! You and I are very close, I'm so ready to be a loser lol in a good way.
  3. @Marisol Unda Do you have to do the pre-op diet? My doctor told me I don't have to, just to maintain my weight and not to eat anything after midnight the night before surgery...I know every doctor has different requirements from what I've read on this site. Just curious...
  4. Yes mine will be done the same way. Thanks and I'll be checking on you my new surgery buddy
  5. Thank you, I'm excited and nervous...But we can do this! Let's motivate each other please, I will need it.
  6. I'm so excited! My surgery was approved by insurance and my date is scheduled for 8/29/18. I am sooooo excited
  7. @tealeal that looks so delish! You are very creative...how do you make the salmon croquettes?
  8. @sillykitty and @macadamia it’s the same here where I live in south Florida, when I went for the endo, at an outpatient surgical center they had to have the name and relation of the person that brought me which was my son, they go out in the waiting room and make sure they are there when the procedure was done the nurse also walked me out to the car to make sure it was the same person and opened the car door to help me get in which I was fine and didn’t need help...that was strange to me but I use them regularly over the years for colonoscopy, etc. and it’ has been the same each time, maybe it’s the facilities insurance policy, not sure but I totally understand what @macadamia is saying. I hope you find someone.
  9. Thanks for sharing your recipe, that looks really tasty!!
  10. Oh that's great you are an hour south of me...well keep up the good work, I'm waiting on my insurance approval and hope to have surgery in August...let's keep in touch
  11. That's awesome! What part of Florida are you from? I live in South Florida, Palm Beach County.
  12. @MIZ60 I'd rather have that beautiful omelette that you made...I'm not a morning person so I usually just throw something in my bag and bring it to work and eat. But I do love to cook so I'm going to get more creative...mine look so boring lol
  13. Looking good! That looks so delish!
  14. This is a typical breakfast for me Pre-surgery plus coffee of tea. I will post side by sides once I have surgery. By the way I love all of the posts
  15. So true, my sister-n-law already told me not to throw my clothes away after I have surgery and start losing, she will alter them for me...she is an awesome seamstress!!
  16. @Tealael Great idea!! Since I have not had my surgery yet I am going to start taking pics of what and how much I am eating now so that when I have a stall I can look back on how much I used to eat versus post-op, that way I won't be so hard on myself. You're the best!!
  17. You look great and congrats on all of your weight loss...I'm sorry to hear about your wife, maybe encourage her to have the surgery and take control of her health and to stop acting childish with the spending. Only you know your situation but if you love her and think it's worth it try marriage counseling. I wish you all the best!
  18. AWWW! That is so very kind of you, I always see the women saying that and being supportive so it's nice to see it coming from a guy. Two thumbs up
  19. @Diana_in_Philly I'm dying...that is sooo funny and true. LOL,LOL
