Less Headaches - you too?
Wanda247 replied to Little Kansas Kitty's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I used to have headaches as well everyday, I just gave up as to what was the cause. But now that I am almost off most of the medication that I was taking before surgery for high BP, Diabetes, Cholesterol and NO MORE headaches...Waalah! I am making healthy choices and reading labels more. -

It's amazing that you are almost at GOAL already...I am so motivated by you and a lot of others on this forum. Congrats -
@Hungryman I know it can be frustrating but you are really doing good so congratulations...one of the posters posted his weight loss journey for 10-12 months and he lost slow but the big picture was he lost about 90 or so lbs in that time frame...his point was “Look at the big picture” when I think about it, really makes a lot of sense...I try and keep that thought in the back of my mind. You’re doing awesome. Keep up the good work.

I’m going through the same thing, I was always hot but now I’m freezing at work. I love it! Now I can wear all of the cute jackets and sweaters that’s just been hanging in my closet...it’s a pleasant change for me, I’m not even having anymore hot flashes come to think of it...yessss!! I hope that last lol

Hi there, I’ve been on this forum a little Over 5 months and I can’t speak for everyone but I think most of the posters here basically share experiences here and are very willing to answer any questions that you may have, this forum has been very helpful, has helped me personally a great deal with all types of questions, some posters share their personal experiences, weight loss success stories and so on. There are a lot of really nice folks here that have been through the process and are successful. There are so many topics that you can do a search for along with a wealth of information. Try it out and see how you like it. I was sleeved on 8/29/18 exactly 4 weeks ago today, I’m very pleased. I wish you all the best on your journey.

I wish you the best. We’re here for you 😊🌺🌺

Food Before and After Photos
Wanda247 replied to GreenTealael's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
All of your foods look so good! This is not as interesting but this is breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 3 turkey sausage links, strawberries and bananas...the restriction is real and I’m happy 😃 -
I've been hearing a lot of talk about slider foods since I joined this site, although posters have explained it I still really didn't fully comprehend it until I had a banana for a snack today. OMG who would have thought! I am 4 weeks post-op and can only eat about 2 oz of food at each meal, sometimes a little less so I was so surprised when I was down to the last bite of my banana and was thinking I pretty much ate the entire thing. I'm actually glad that I experienced it for myself, now I know to be watchful of slider foods and portion control. I'm loving my sleeve... Thanks guys for making me aware

Nope you're not the only one, I took pain meds through IV while in the hospital but I was still uncomfortable and had to make myself walk. When I got home I was still in pain and took the medication that was prescribed to me by my surgeon, I started feeling better and better each day as I was home. I agree it was hard but time goes by so fast. I'm already 4 weeks post op and back at work feeling just fine. Give it time it gets better

@Matt Z Thanks for sharing your year WL chart, it's so true but very easy to reflect on the little things...Great food for thought and encouraging. I like the big picture
