    Nirvana from the gods....

On the purée stage I did a lot of puréed chicken salad, it was my go too. Simple and quick and very tasty 😋

    Nirvana from the gods....

Yes I tried it and it’s really good, of course I couldn’t eat much so I cut it up into small servings and froze it, it reheats very well too...there are a few variations which you can find on this site or YouTube. 😊

    No Pain Medications

I know some people that are in the medical field and believe it or not some people will actually have surgery to get pain meds...It's hard to phantom and so so sad but I saw an episode on My 600 lb life and one of patients did that, because of their addiction the doctors are leery I guess 😟 I couldn't even begin to imagine having surgery without pain meds...

    Help, I'm hungry AGAIN!

Try drinking flavored water, maybe it's head hunger that you are experiencing...It's good that you reached out for help because you have come so far. You asked should you start over from the beginning, I think that's a good idea just don't have shakes since you don't like them and you said you still have restriction so that is GREAT!! You will get back on track. Write down reasons why you chose to have the surgery and keep it near you as a reminder. I wish you all the best!
  17. You look really good! Congratulations you have done very well and it’s so encouraging to see progress like yours and others. 😉

    Munchies

@beccaconaty87 I had grapes by week 3, everyone can’t tolerate fruit at the same time or some people say it’s a slider food, but it isn’t for me...my suggestion is to try one and see how it goes for you, I usually can’t have more than 7 or 8 depending on the size. My nutritionist was amazed that I could eat strawberries because of the seeds but it doesn’t bother me, she said go for it if I could tolerate it. The only fruit that I find is a slider food is bananas, I can eat the whole thing, I was shocked lol. Now I cut it in half. I love fruit.

    Difficult in weightloss

@Eliz_123 what you are experiencing is absolutely normal! Your stomach is still swollen from having major surgery, give your body a chance to heal, two weeks isn’t long at all AND you’ve lost 13 lbs! That’s awesome, in that short amount of time...follow your plan and you will lose, I think most plans tell you that it takes 1 year to 18 months to get to goal, some people definitely do lose the weight faster but everyone’s body is different, you have to factor in age, starting weight, medical issues and the list goes on. None of us put on this weight overnight so we are not going to lose it overnight. You are on track and doing quite well so try and relax and not focus so much on the scale, follow your plan and the weight will come off. Do a search on stalls and you will find so many topics and see that you are not alone. Keep up the good work the end result will be worth it. 😊

    Silly question

I agree with @Missouri-Lee's Summit No question is silly, I wondered that myself when I can gradually eat a little more than I did before...so thanks for asking that question. 🙂

    It's SAD

You just need to move to Florida young lady @GreenTealael I was born and raised here, so I had no choice in the matter...don't get me wrong it's beautiful here, sunny, palm trees, beaches...yada yada yada BUT I do feel sad when I see snow up north and it;s 80 plus degrees here. My first time actually seeing snow in person was the beginning of this year when I went to Lake Tahoe in January, to me it was the most beautiful experience ever. It was 20 degrees at night time and I actually slept with the sliding glass door cracked open...it felt soooo good to me. But I have heard people say that winter makes them sad so I do understand.
