    Jealousy?

Admittedly I'm jealous that she seems to be putting very little effort in and seems to be doing well. I am not undermining my own progress, I've lost 120 pounds so far, and 90 alone from surgery. I have completely overhauled my diet and life. But I am still jealous of her ability to eat whatever and still lose weight. You are working hard and seem to being doing things the right way for long term success...You've lost over 100 lbs and that speaks volume. Please don't feel jealous of her but feel sorry for her because like the other posters said, her weight will come back unfortunately and guess what...those same people trying to get you to eat junk will be talking bad about her and saying that she should have been like you and turned down the junk food. yada, yada, yada...It's her life though. I know people as well who's had wls and did the same thing, never changed their eating habits or lifestyle and the weight has returned. Keep doing you, we are proud of you and here to support you. PS: You may want to distance yourself from her so as to not pick up her bad habits, be around positive people that are going to motivate and encourage you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    First day home

    Food Before and After Photos

The meal on the right was before surgery on one of my many diets, I would eat that, have coffee with cream and a snack in between breakfast and lunch. On the left is what Iโ€™ve advanced to at 3 months PO. 1 boiled egg and 1/3 of an apple flavored chicken sausage. Completely satisfied and wonโ€™t eat again until lunch time and thatโ€™s because Iโ€™m not hungry for anything. I usually have a afternoon snack in between lunch and dinner most days. This tool is awesome!!
  5. You've done an awesome job!! You look great. Keep up the good work ๐Ÿ‘

    Worried About Water

LOL...you will, I'm still a newbie but if you read or ask some of the folks that's been on here a year or more, I DO NOT see any of them complaining about not being able to meet their liquids/fluid goals, they all actually encourage every one to drink more...It's just about your mindset, if you want to succeed you will do it. I love this site...I continue to learn things daily here ๐Ÿ‘ You got this!!!

    Worried About Water

Oh yes, you will be fine. Itโ€™s only in the beginning that you will take sips...I was drinking gulps at about 1.5 weeks...I donโ€™t think youโ€™ll be able to drink 22 oz in one shot but you will be able to drink enough so youโ€™re not walking around thirsty....Iโ€™m never thirsty because I always keep water with me. Itโ€™s the solid food stage is when you will feel restriction and can only eat small amounts which is awesome!! Water just goes right through you and as time passes the more you will be able to gulp ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ I wish you all the best!

Sleeved 11/21 too much fluid intake?

@dreamingofasleeve youโ€™re actually doing really well getting your liquids in so early on, itโ€™s definitely going to prevent dehydration and help with weight loss, I was having a hard time getting 64 oz in that early on so Iโ€™m impressed...keep doing what youโ€™re doing and you will be a success...drink more if you can. Congratulations on your surgery and keep up the good work ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Discouraged

@jujusmommy07 I lose weight slow and stall often but it does come off, stick to the plan and it will come off. The scale may not move but inches are coming off, walk as much as you can or go to the gym...and please donโ€™t compare yourself to anyone because we are all different and all lose at different rates. I lost about 20 lbs in the first 3-4 weeks the I didnโ€™t lose any more weight for 4 weeks, one day I got on the scale and bam!! I was down 7 lbs but within that 4 week stall I was losing inches and my clothes were getting very lose so I knew that I was losing. You will be fine...you got this honey.
  13. @Torriluv02 yes I had the sleeve on 8/29/18 and itโ€™s going great, I lose slow and stall often but Iโ€™m ok with that. My team says that Iโ€™m on track and I feel that way to, I exercise a lot, WLS was one of the best decisions ever. I had surgery for health reasons and itโ€™s amazing that Iโ€™m off most of the meds that I was taking...itโ€™s a win win right there. Iโ€™m down 37 lbs so far.
  14. Wow thatโ€™s awesome @skp and @torriluv02 I often wondered how long the restriction lasts so itโ€™s very encouraging to hear that. I hope mine lasts as long as yours. You two have done an awesome job! Congratulations...

    Discouraged

Not trying to be condescending but how much weight did you expect to lose in 7 weeks?
  16. You look so good! You said you will never be skinny...guess what?? You are skinny love with your curves and all. Iโ€™m so happy for you and you are a good example of what hard work and determination looks like. Inspiration overload ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ. Yassssss

Whooshes and Stalls - Why weight loss isn't linear

I like this and it's so true, it happens to me. I call it my norm but I think I like Whoosh better LOL. Thanks for sharing
  18. It does get better sweetie, we have all been there and like Biddie zz said, the left side pain is most likely gas so move as much as you can...my gas was bad probably longer than most, then one day it was just gone. This will pass soon and each day gets better and better. Hang in there sweetie, you got this ((Hugs)) btw: I was emotional and crying in the hospital my last night there and the morning before I went home, but that didn't last long...Once I got home I just concentrated on healing, getting my protein and water intake in and that kept me pretty occupied.
  19. It's exciting right?? Congratulations and I wish you all the best.
  20. Wanda247

    I did it!!!!!!!!!!

Thatโ€™s amazing!! Congratulations. It will slow down a bit but to have a big chunk off in such a short time is so motivating. Iโ€™m so excited for you, keep up the great work. You got this ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

    Not full

Hi fluffy, you will feel the restriction once you start on solid foods? The liquids go right through you which is great because you can get all of your water intake in with no issues. Congratulations on your surgery ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ
  22. This thread is so encouraging!! You guys are doing so good, man it made me feel so happy and upbeat just reading all of your successful and positive experiences and each one is so different. Thanks to you all for the motivation ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ woot woot

How exactly does bypass change your fat metabolism?

    Thanks for clarifying ๐Ÿ‘
  24. Wanda247

    How did you do it?

Mine is basically similar to yours but some foods they allow I just choose not to eat for health reasons (like mashed potatoes, and some other carbs, I don't want my blood sugar to spike) My team said in the beginning not to worry about counting calories but I started counting by week 2 only because I know this is something I will try and continue to do as long as I can, tracking what I eat has always worked for me, it's when I stopped tracking in the past I would gain. The information given to me by my team has been very very beneficial and it's working for me. They also really encourage incorporating exercise daily which I do. I feel great!! Nice Post ๐Ÿ‘
