Frustrated with "I know someone who gained it all back" reactions
That’s the very reason why I do not tell people about my surgery it’s none of their business and I don’t need any negativity. It’s been three years and the struggle is real and I’m still fighting to keep it off.

January 2017 sleevers
Since coming back from vacay I suffered knee pain later finding out I have a torn Meniscus and I had surgery Dec 2018. Still having pain and trying to slowly get back in gym. My diet hasn’t been the best and can’t exercise as much as before. I have gain 8lbs since surgery and can’t seem to lose it. ? feeling discouraged for the first time since my sleeve .

How long after surgery before you returned to work?
I took three weeks off. I was planning on returning in one week but there was no way. I had zero energy and could only eat a thimble full of food. Don’t rush it. Take your time give your self time to adjust to this new lifestyle. Even after going back it took a while to get my energy back

January 2017 sleevers
Vacation was amazing had a great time. I wore shorts and even a pair of white pants that I haven’t done in years. Came back have had kidney stones ( again) then started having knee problems so had to cut out a lot of my workouts but still trying. Going to Physical therapy for my knee so hopefully back at it soon. I’m up 6 lbs since all this and I hate it. Hoping it’s from fluid on my knee and steroids. Still trying to eat right How is everyone doing?

Does the attention bother you?
The only thing that bothers me about the attention is people wanting to know how you lost it. I haven’t told anyone about my surgery ( Except close fam and 2 friends) So I just tell them what diet and exercise plan I follow. I’m not open about my surgery it’s no one’s business and plp tend to judge you when u say you had surgery. They don’t understand that surgery is not easy, it still takes hard work especially a year afterwards

January 2017 sleevers
Just Checking in with you all. Summer is here! How is everyone doing in their journey? I’ve stayed the same haven’t really lost or gained just maintaining. Still going to the gym 5-6 lx a week. Have fallen off a few times with eating breads, haven’t had sweets im kinda afraid they will make me ill. I’m at a stall but I haven’t been as strict as before. I find I can consume more which I don’t like. Lol. I’ve been taking collagen powder to help with loose skin, anyone else try this?
