  1. Hi, All! I am 4 weeks post-op and my doctor has removed the 25 lbs lifting restriction! I am super excited. I am ready to run a marathon. OK, just kidding. However, I do have the problem of thinking I can still exercise like I did when I was in the military over 20 years ago. I want to jump into cross-fit or rock climbing or whatever. I do walk my dog twice a day, for at least a mile. We have to avoid the smaller dogs he wants to eat. My neighbours would be most upset if their pets wound up as his meal. What did you start with for exercising? (Apparently, I decided it would be a good time to move during recovery.....does that count as exercise?)
  2. Pre-Surgery, I'd weigh myself when my Lose It! app reminded me and even then, I would ignore it. Especially once I hit my high weight because I was so mad at myself. Now, post-surgery, I weigh myself daily and make sure it logs into my phone. I compare it to my doctor's scale on the days I am at the hospital.
