  4. I've done EVERYTHING!! Even had 2 EGD's (one with my old doctor, and one with my new). Now the office is saying I need 4 nutrition visits instead of 3!! I just want to get my surgery done while my son is away for the summer. Uggghhh[emoji21][emoji21][emoji21][emoji24][emoji24][emoji22][emoji36] Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. That's good my out of pocket is $6k!! And I have Aetna too! Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Wow your procesa seemed pretty easy. Mine has been a roller coaster and a bunch of follow up on my end. A lot has to do with the fact I changed surgeons and wasn't told about all the appointments I'd have to have up front...I'm taking group nutrition classes at Baylor Scott and White (they are massive and pretty good). I just want to get on the damn schedule for surgery. The summer is approaching and I have travel plans. Also would like to get this done while my son is away visiting family and I have time to focus on myself. Ugggghhh how frustrating!!![emoji21][emoji21][emoji21]
  7. Wooooowwww how amazing! You've been trying for 2 years and now boom! Yes, I agree with everyone, the father has a plan. Get you a team of good doctors follow thier orders but also do research. God bless you.
  8. I have Aetna and the lady who does the per certification told me once I have everything she will call and get approval. She needs that approval # to get me on the schedule. Like you I have a specific window of time that I need my surgery done. If I can move up my stress test and second EGD I'd be golden. Hang in there but stay on them.

I'm getting the bypass hopefully late June or early July. My doctor does the procedure at Methodist in Dallas. Which hospital in Irving? Which one are you getting?

  11. OMG!!! obviously she's a hater and could sense the bond you two have and wanted to destroy that. You go for keeping your composure and to your husband!!!! He ROCKS for his comment "no substitutions" [emoji106]?[emoji106]?Love it!
  12. I haven't had my surgery but I'm concerned about lose skin on my back. Is this something covered by insurance? Sorry I asked a question with a question but I'm sure someone ready this will have an answer for you. [emoji5]
  13. Hi, I'm 3 months though the process, completed my EDG, nutrition and exercise session but not submitted precertification to Aetna. Anyone have experience changing doctors before certification and did your insurance make you start the process over again?
  14. I was told that I could switch doctors because I haven't been certified for the surgery yet. Since nothing has been submitted I can just have my records sent to my new doctor and have him send the paperwork in for certification. No seminars yet but my EGD is done, 3 months with the surgeon done, nutrition and exercise appointment done as well.
  15. I hear ya 3 weeks liquid diet is tough. Does the doctor require you to take the laxative before surgery? As far as me, I'm doing ok. Going to see another surgeon next week for a second opinion and then having my psyh eval so I should be ready to submitt for my percert. I feel my current dr doesn't have the support I need and found another with better reviews. Soo much to consider when going through this process so I want to make the best decision possible.
  16. Too funny!! The FUPA is the bottm stomach right?
  17. Hey!!! Well Monday is around the corner. How are you doing on the liquid diet?

  20. Wait a minute...after my WLS sex will feel different??[emoji21]??? ANNNDDD the shape, sixe and form of my Yoni may change?
  21. Girlll!!!! You did it!! Soo happy for you. Just relax and know you will be more than fine after surgery. And does everyone have to take the citrate the night before surgery? Getting a massage and float session was a great idea! I'll have to do that. Hopefully I remember to schedule one. I'm seeing another surgeon next week. [emoji106]
  22. Wow!! Did you work out as well and were you very strick on your eating?
  23. Hummm...that's a great price. I see a lot of people putting it in starbuck coffe. Maybe I'll try that. Thanks for the info
