@newmebithebypass My pre op diet is actually one of the easier ones ive seen. I get a protein shake for breakfast, protein bar for lunch, 3 oz of lean meat and salad with 1 serving of fat free dressing and 6 unsalted crackers, for dinner. I can have sugar free jello and popsicles in between if i get hungry. I start mine Aug 14th.

I personally HATE canned broth plain. I suggest either making your own or at least doctoring up the store bought broth in a crockpot with veggies and spices then straining it. Also alot of people freeze it in ice cube trays then put the cubes in a freezer bag so you can just take out a serving at a time.

@YoBL Yours sounds very similar to mine and I am allowed the jello and popsicles. Couldn't hurt to ask. I would assume it would be the same as sugar free drink.

My office usually schedules 4-6 wks out. I think they are all different. I agree that u should call and get a tentative date on their schedule now. Also, i know people who have said they explained situations to their insurance once everything was turned in and had the approval fast tracked. I don't know if thats common or they just got lucky. @AshMarie794 Im sorry that happened, it would SUCK! I can understand why it would be hard to get prepared/excited this time. Just try and be positive. It has to happen this time because i need someone to compare notes, and complain to who will be at the same place in the journey i am! I would love to see your YouTube videos. I wish i was brave enough to do something like that, but im too self conscious. I hope you dont mind that i followed you.

@AshMarie794 I feel like im as prepared as Im going to be..lol Im sure closer to time nerves will kick in. I start my preop diet the 14th and have my scope done the 21st. Ive already bought everything (i think) Are u all ready?
