    stomach noises

Mine made noises but not excessive until like the last week. It seems to be growing its voice and getting louder. It definitely does it when I get hungry but also at other times as well.

    Protein protein protein

The first few weeks you won't get near what they want you to get in. Just work more on getting your water in so you don't get dehydrated. You'll build up tolerance as time goes on. Call your NUT to make sure but I'm sure they will tell you to do the best you can for now. That's how it was for me and what I've read a lot from others here. CONGRATS BTW and Best to you!!!!
  5. Just created a new one solely related to surgery and journey. @VSG_SAN . Not a thing posted yet but will add when it is related and I'll be adding all the names listed here. Edit: Requested what the search found. There were more search could not find than did find. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong as I hardly use IG other than following interests. Basically just copy from here and pasted in search.
  6. Good going man. Best of luck on your next appointment!!!!!
  7. This will be my first and we will be handing out the candy. There is always leftovers but I'm pretty sure I'll be ok. I havn't really had any craving or temptation that came even close to getting the better of me as of yet.
  8. Congrats @GirthyGirl on your success to date. You look great and very happy.

    July Sleeve

Also I'm supposed to be hitting around 80 grams of protein and 80 ounces of water minimum but I'm getting 100+ protein and 125+ of water daily.

    July Sleeve

Same here my NP and NUT told me I shouldn't be worried about calories as of now and probbly not until about 6 months out. Just stay focused on Protein intake and water. I am hitting around 800 as of right now but it's mostly from adding things like PB2, banana or yogurt to my protein shakes.
  11. OK. So what is your standard recipe for egg salad because my standard recipe is boiled eggs and mayo. I have never had it any other way. Where does relish play into it. I love spicy so would love to try the jalepeno.
  12. Looking good bro. How do you get the pics. Do you just set up your phone or someone takes them for you.

    weight loss

That 1st lump of weight is water weight from surgery. IV and such so don't expect to loose so much every week. The first few weeks will not be consistent, as your body is healing you will drop more weight on some days/weeks than others. Don't pay that much attention to the numbers straight off, you have to let your body adjust. Congrats BTW and Best to you on your recovery/journey!!!!

    New to bariatric pal

Keep to the program and work on your water intake. Track your intake of everything even if it's on the nono list. It'll help you determine if/where you are going wrong. Stall are going to happen and so is weight gain. There are a lot of determining factors so don't think you are failing. Most of all be patient, that was my hardest struggle and at times still is. Stay positive mentally and Best To You!!!!

    Green stools and diarheoa

Had the same at the beginning of my recovery. Still have green stools now but not so much loose. I haven't given it a 2nd thought, just figured it's the greens and meds I am consuming.

    Thank you

It's sad we have to search for the good in this world when it seems all the focus is on the bad and negative. I would also like to extend my thanx to everyone here who is so positive and uplifting. You all inspire and motivate in such a large way. THANK YOU!!!!!

    Mommies getting sleeved

I didn't read through all the post and am sure it has been said but it won't to read it again. The recovery time is minimal compared to the amount of time you will have being able to do "whatever" for those two babies. Your not being selfish, your looking out for their future. One where you can be there for them and not feel held back due to your weight or health. Take the small amount of time now so you don't have to deny them at anytime. Best to you!!!

    40 something sleevers?

I love your entire post but didn't want to repost the whole thing. I feel like I'm doing ok but still have struggles. I can't wait to one day come to this point. Where it's just normal and not have to think so much about it. Congrats to you on your continued success. It is very inspirational to hear from someone so far out that has kept it up. Thank You and Continued success!!!!!

    20 Something’s?

I'm only 15. Well in my mind anyway. Seriously though, DO NOT be embarrassed at all. Be happy that you are so young and able to do this. Think of all the years ahead of you that you can enjoy so much better because of WLS.
