  3. I had the gastric sleeve done May 1st 2018 and I am 6 months in and I was doing good for a little while after surgery and I had to moved. I kind of got off track and now it’s hard for me to get back on track ! NEED HELP DOES ANY ADVICE OR TIPS !

  4. I had mine the same day! I was told for the next 2 weeks- it is supposed to be pourable liquid consistency. I have been doing my Protein Shakes, SF Jello, SF ice pops, SF pudding, unsweetened applesauce, thinned greek yogurt and just added some cream Soups and broth. I am aiming for 60g of Protein today. They told me to worry about Water first and then my Protein.< br>

That’s what I been doing well besides my Protein Shakes but I think I should start back on those then

  5. So I'm going to assume the date of your surgery was a typo and you are talking about being on a preop liquid diet, which for most folks means Protein Shakes. It's hard to provide advice without knowing what you are struggling with. Is it the liquid nature of the diet, are you having difficulty getting all the Protein you need, are you just frustrated and hungry (trust me we have all experienced this on the preop diet)?

It’s the liquid diet I’m having trouble with ! I really don’t what to drink or eat !

  6. See a dietitian.
Follow your dietitian's instructions. food journal, watch portions, stick to calorie limits, avoid processed foods.
    Exercise.
Work really really hard to change your lifestyle and eating habits.
Find some support. An accountability buddy. A support group. Therapy if needed.
Take it a day at a time. Never give up:)

    Thank you for the advice
