  1. Hi! I know, I’m so excited. I just want to go to sleep and wake up on Monday lol. When they told me that it was cancelled and I was going to have to wait yet another week I broke broke my diet. There’s no way I was going to be on it for 3 weeks. Then I got back on it but I have been eating protein [emoji87] idk but it seems to be working because I’ve lost 10lbs so far. Saturday and Sunday I’m going to do only liquids and and a laxative. How are you doing? Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  2. Hi! I’ve been a little bummed out because my surgery on May 14th was cancelled but I’m in good spirits now because it got rescheduled for Monday the 21st. And I can’t wait [emoji847] how’s everything? Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  3. As soon as I’m out of the purée stage I’m drinking my vitamin tablets. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  4. You are so lucky! I’m doing horrible I keep eating protein. I had plain eggs for breakfast and I want a slice of salmon for dinner. I know it has no carbs and low in cal & fat but I feel bad because that’s not what my doctor instructed. The extra week was what killed me after I had been doing well for 6 days on my liquid diet then suddenly the call that it was pushed. I sure as hell wasn’t doing a 3 week liquid so I broke it and came back on it but the hunger and cravings are back like day one. I’m thinking of doing a laxative and a diuretic the day before see if I can cleanse myself and get rid of excess water but I’m afraid of being dehydrated [emoji30] Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  5. Definitely! I’ll for sure be in my room trying to text y’all all the details no matter how woozy I feel from my anesthesia [emoji23][emoji23] Everyone else who went into surgery the past two weeks just left me hanging [emoji30] How’s your liquid diet going? Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    3 weeks down

Amazing! It’s like you magically shrunk. Congrats Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  7. I think that’s also why I prob why I feel like this, all the failed attempts. I’m having bypass as well. Doc tried to rear me towards a sleeve but I know that won’t work for me. Stalls will definitely be hard for me, I’ll just have to talk myself out of the negative thoughts. I don’t want my mood and happiness to depend on the numbers on the scale but that is the focus after Weightloss so it’ll be hard. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  8. Honestly I can’t wait until I can eat small portions and feel happy and satisfied. being hangry is no fun. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

  10. My was scheduled for yesterday but had to be rescheduled for next Monday the 21st because they accidentally booked me for a day that the hospital had no open operating rooms. Imagine how I felt getting that news.. just awful and angry. I’m happy this is working for you.. I look forward to the day I too don’t feel hungry and stop craving. You had the sleeve? 11. It’s just not that big of a deal.. I see before and after pics on here of sleevers all the time and say the same to myself, “You don’t look like you needed it”. To make a big deal out of it and report it seems more unnecessary than the comment itself but that’s just me. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    Crushing pills gag

Thought you meant vitamins since most prescription medications should not be crushed unless instructed especially pain meds and heating up medication will make them lose potency if not all with anything over room temperature. Hope you find a solution. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

  15. Yeap that’s exactly how I was and then I was pretty pooped. I guess it was just not meant to be on the 14th. Thankfully I didn’t do anything crazy like tattoo that date on my arm [emoji30][emoji23] Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    YAY!!!

I kept my team on their toes.. after every clearance I would call and ask if the results were in my chart and in their system. I made them sign a sheet with all my weigh ins Incase somehow it “disappeared” (because that’s how my luck works). After I had everything I needed I kept calling them asking if it was submitted and after it got submitted I will call every two days asking if it got approved lmaooo.. I know they’re happy as all hell to be done with me. But you just can’t sit back and leave things to chance. one week later I got the call and 3 days after that I was sitting with my surgeon scheduling my bypass. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  17. Yeap.. I knew it was too good to be true [emoji58] Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  18. Surprisingly I was able to choose if I wanted to go first which means I have to be there at 5:30 AM I decided that was best for me because I can’t imagine having nothing in my stomach all day until a 2-3pm procedure, lord! but my team has to call me too on Friday for all the specifics. I’m going to be messaging you from my hospital bed asking if you went in yet [emoji23] Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  19. Thank god because I have lost all my twins from may 15th [emoji30] I’ll be stalking you around here for sure lol Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  20. O wow that’s really good because those shakes can really put a dent. I was actually wondering the other day how come seniors can qualify for ensure but we can’t qualify for protein but I guess it’s prob because this is an elective procedure. Don’t let them give you the generic ones 🤢 Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  21. I broke it for a few days [emoji30] because I refused to be on it for over 3 weeks because of incompetent people. But I’m back now.. for whatever reason those few days helped me realized I’m not really missing out on anything and I didn’t feel as good as I thought I would after eating. I hope this week goes by fast and not because I’m on protein but because I can’t wait to be on the losers bench [emoji28] Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  22. How’s it going for you? Everything is going as planned? Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  23. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED... can you believe they changed my date. NY Presbyterian had the audacity to tell me that they didn’t have an operating room for this Monday coming up the 15th and that I had to be rescheduled for the 21st. I can’t even recite what I said to them because it’ll be a bunch of *********** ** **** ******** ******* but I was livid. Now I’m just sad that I have to wait another week. Procare Health: 1 per day

Ah ok.. I kind of figured as much. I’m definitely getting the iron-free ones. I believe ill be set with these vitamins along with my Heme iron and my barimelt calcium, unless my numbers say otherwise. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    Procare Health: 1 per day

My calcium barimelts I got from Amazon.. they aren’t bad but I just don’t like sweets and all that suckling so I put 2 in like 2-3 oz of water and gone. They are super potent and I like that! Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
