  5. Btw guys, I did go out and have that steak I mentioned earlier but it wasn’t as orgasmic as I thought it would be. Figg since it’s my last meal before the liquid diet and all that it would mean much more to me but it didn’t. I honestly just want to wake up tomorrow morn and start my liquid diet and embark on this journey. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  6. Congrats surgery twin! I’m deff going to stalk you on here to compare milestones although everyones journey is different it’s still great to have someone else to compare small progress with. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City
  7. Congrats! Soon We’ll be on the other side. And yes you’re 100% correct. It’s so crazy because just now I was making a video for myself. I wanted to talk about how today was my 2 weeks before surgery and how different I will look soon. I made sure my whole body came out and that I said bye to the fat me. While watching the video I felt mortified. I try not to look into mirrors and I don’t take pictures because it’s hard for me to see myself at this weight. So playing back the video and seeing just how big I am definitely was a shocker and reassured me of my decision. To think we see the number on the scale but we refused to see ourselves carrying that weight. I can honestly say I don’t feel as big as I looked in the clip but that’s me that’s how big I am. Deff made the right decision. Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    Pre-OP process

I must add that I was never required to actually diet or lose any weight so that was the best part. I will have to do the 2 week pre op liquid diet though. Ugh Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    Pre-OP process

That’s a blessing. Mine was a breeze too. I got my 1st visit and referrals for my clearances in October and that same week I went for my weigh in because I didn’t want to waste a month. By November I was done with all my clearances and I just had to wait until March for my 6th and last weigh in. The tricky part is once it’s all done and it’s sent to your insurance if you get approved or not. I got approved and I’ll get my surgery date tomorrow. So excited! Yo-Yo Girl from New York City

    Surgery date

I have yet to meet my surgeon and I finished all my clearances and my 6 month weigh ins (no diet or losing required) I also got the approval from my insurance. But tomorrow I finally meet with my surgeon and according to my information packet the surgery will be scheduled 2-3 weeks after the visit and I also get to choose which procedure I want done tomorrow (RNY of course).
