  1. I lived on pouch yogurt, mushroom soup and diet cordial for weeks. All good now though
  2. Pain is nothing compared to tummy tuck. It is a walk in the park. Good luck[emoji2]
  3. See if your Dr will organise an iron infusion - amazing !!!! I have never felt better and no side effects of the iron tablets.
  4. I have been having tuna on rice cakes.
  5. Keep an open mind we obviously all recover differently. I wasnt out of surgery until 6pm but I had a rough night and wouldn’t have coped at home.
  6. I didn’t tell anyone - i said diet and exercise. It’s my personal business. There were a couple of friends - not super close- I wanted to tell because they struggle and believe in diets but I’m glad I didn’t because they are quite closed minded.
  7. Vitamins for fatigue
  8. Good on you for writing. I am nearly one year and not had the experience others have had. But I too will keep chugging along. All the best to you and I bet you look great already.
  9. I didn’t loose straight away either it takes time
  10. I would talk to your surgeons office it doesn’t sound right to me. They might advise some different foods. Are u getting all your water in?
  11. You have very similar numbers to me. My weight loss has been very slow. I did get a personal trainer at about 2 months out and I had an iron infusion. I have built up a lot of muscle and feel good but weight loss has been slower for me than others I see on here. I even had an expensive metabolism test but it was fine. Counting protein is important. Be patient and slow is good in some ways.
  12. Is it emotional? Have you been stressed by something? Try and stop for a minute and think what it could be?
  13. 10 weeks pregnant or 10 weeks post sleeve and just pregnant. Either way you will be fine. Some women get so sick they eat very little through their pregnancy. The sickness can pass. Your team will assist with vitamins - keep up your fluids. Congratulations
  14. Followed - but I don’t check insta too much but I hope I can support you when I do.
  15. Mine told me the same thing - not to worry about calories in the beginning. It worked out fine you will notice a difference with solids and different liquids
  16. I haven’t read the whole thread so sorry if this has been said but I was hungry too and it was acid. I’m in Australia and was prescribed some Nexium and if I took it in the morning- no major hunger. The nurse diagnosed this post surgery when I said I was starving. Also the type of food makes you feel more restricted.
  17. We didn’t have to do mushy food for 3 months?? Check on that but it may be difficult for you. There are recipes on here too. Best of luck
  18. Hi I’m 8 months out and I can drink normally as long as I haven’t eaten of course. Hate it when I eat abs get thirsty then have to wait until I can drink. I have the occasional treat tonight the family had pizza and I had one slice - that was all I needed pre sleeve I probs would have had 3 or 4 big slices. It’s different.
  19. I had a brownie I can’t remember how far out I was maybe 10 weeks I know I didn’t get through all of it and I cramped for ages - what was I thinking??
  20. You said u were hungry this gets better with solid food but are you on an antacid - it made a huge difference to me
  21. Yes I think you are right try without the rice. I can’t do noodles either.
  22. Be careful you don’t want to get dehydrated. Some people get lactose intolerant after it I couldn’t do shakes after mine. Maybe call your clinic it could be dangerous if you get dehydrated.
  23. Thank you for sharing I really appreciate it
