  1. Best wishes that all goes smoothly and you recover quickly!
  2. Welcome! Nice to meet you! We have very similar stats, I'm just a few months ahead of you. Go Texas girls!
  3. I chewed sf gum just to exercise my jaws!
  4. Definitely! The liquid diet is tough. Gotta keep your eye on the prize!
  5. OMGosh, these are hilarious. I'm going to have to start googling pics of mine!
  6. That scares the living h3ll out of me!
  7. Good luck! Hope all goes smoothly!
  8. I'll have to check that out, thanks!
  9. I haven't even thought that far ahead. Good luck in your search. I was only a C at my highest weight, so I'll probably be looking at training bras when I'm done. (A cup - extra long!)
  10. I poached some tilapia the other night and was able to eat about an ounce and a half. My husband turned my leftovers into a fish taco. I might be able to eat a bit of rotisserie chicken, thanks for the suggestion!
  11. I did manage to eat 1/4 (maybe) of a chicken leg the other night. We cooked it wrapped in foil so that it stayed extra moist. And, of course, I cut it into about 10 pieces! If there's any hint of stringiness, it just gets stuck in my stomach for hours. So jerky is definitely on my back burner for now. (But I do love it!)
  12. I'll have to decide if jerky is worth a 25 mile trip! That's the closest Trader Joe's. But jerky is a good idea, at least once I can tolerate meat.
  13. Yeah! It's wonderful to move onto real food! Just take it slow.
  14. Good idea. I haven't bought any yet, but I need to
  15. I work in an office. My doctor wouldn't clear me to return to work until after my 1 week follow-up. So, I stayed home one week, then worked one week of 1/2 days, then back to work full time. I admire the work ethic of other posters, but I needed more healing time! And, personally, I did find that sitting up in a chair was quite uncomfortable for the first week. I spent most of my time in a recliner.
  16. Thank you, I'm so over the Flintstones!
  17. Hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery!
  18. But that's an important one! Yippee! or Wippeeee!
