You sound like my brother Mike. He spent all of boot camp doing push-ups because of his smart-mouth. He'd never looked better -

After carrying twins full-term, I can tell you that they will shrink and get pale, which is far less noticeable! -

Their loss -
I think this really depends on your personality. Some people are great planners. They figure out what they are going to eat and when and then stick to the script. I'm more about tracking. I use a notebook, but you can use any of the tracking apps like MyFitnessPal, etc. Once I've met my protein goals for the day (water is easy for me), I'm done eating except for non-starchy veggies. I don't count those. But some way or another, you have to keep track. And even when you cheat, write it down. One thing that helps me is cooking. I have so much more control over protein an calories in food that I make myself. Good luck!

Great topic! Following . . . And congrats on your success! -
No, you haven't ruined it. It takes quite a while to stretch the pouch out and that is with overstretching it every day. However, you really want to focus on success now. Right now is as easy as it will ever get. Once the honeymoon period is over, it will be much harder to lose, so don't waste this time period.

I agree, but I've never seen one take preparation to those lengths! Guess you won't be posting asking how soon you can eat pizza!

Thank you. I'm glad I've been able to help a little. I have a co-worker with Crohn's. He is extremely thin and very careful with whatever he eats. I don't know anything about his medications. We don't know each other that well. But you've helped me to understand part of it. I appreciate it. -

Oh, man, I am so sorry that you've had to go through all of this. It really makes me appreciate how much I take for granted. You're such a nice guy and very positive; its a real credit to your character than you haven't become angry and bitter. Your story is inspirational. Thank you for sharing and best wishes on your surgery and a smooth recovery. -

I have seen several men comment on it as well. I think it's just more noticeable when your hair is longer and you're pulling a gerbil-sized wad of hair out of the shower drain.

You didn't ask Mommy or Daddy. You just decided to accept the spanking if it came your way

Have you taken your measurements and "before" photos? If you're all ready, watch a comedy on tv. Relax. You'll do great. Best wishes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery!

You mean 4 straight hours of hot fudge sundaes isn't healthy? Damn! I thought I had it figured out! Guess I'll just throw myself out of my 4-hour window!
