You’re losing over 12 pounds a month. I think that’s incredible! Just keep doing what you’re doing! Consider, at your current pace you’ll be in the 200s in 3.5 months. That’s amazing. Keep your eyes on the prize and don’t second guess yourself.

MyMojosBack got a reaction from allwet in HELP. Have I messed up and ruined my surgery?
Let’s start with, you haven’t ruined anything. We didn’t get fat because of one bad choice. And a bad choice isn’t going to derail your success on this surgery. HOWEVER, you’ve got to be honest with yourself too. Keeping your trigger foods in the house is a bad idea. Throw them out now. Seriously, now. Find something that you can eat on this program that sounds good and make sure you have plenty on hand. No more tasting foods and spitting them out. I say this because I can relate to you. After getting rid of the bad foods, the second thing you must do is join a support group of some kind. A good one for you might be over-eaters anonymous. Or even weight watchers. The last thing you should do is beat yourself up for being human. You have not failed and you’re not a failure. Choose to get back on track and forgive yourself. You deserve that!

Try pourling four little one ounce cups of Water each hour and challenge yourself to drink one ounce every 15 minutes.
Alternate each hour between clear fluids and Protein Drink.
You can drink an astounding amount this way, but you have to work at it all day. Every hour.

You are probably still retaining your surgery fluids, once you get rid of them you'll be losing like a jackrabbit! And then I bet you'll be posting good news week by week! Congratulations on your successful surgery.

So I am in the recovery room having had my surgery at 8:30 Wednesday. I totally agree that the pain and in particular the gas bubbles are harsh. It doesn’t help that the night nurse is Nurse Ratched. Just happy the surgery is done. Had a massive level 4 hernia that was discovered as well.

I get my sleeve this Wednesday (3/14/18). My thoughts and emotions are all over the place. Nervous, excited, worried, happy, depressed, hopeful, angry, hyper, exhausted. Is this normal?

Yes totally normal! I was terrified! I’m almost a month out from my surgery and I’m down 27 pounds. Keep your eye on the prize! I’m not going to lie- the first couple of days for me were ROUGH but it was mainly gas pain and nausea. Once I got past that it was smooth sailing. I’ve eaten out with friends several times since I’ve been on soft foods (none of them suspected anything. I haven’t told anyone I was sleeved but my immediate family) and I’m living my normal life and routine now...except I eat a lot less food. And the best part.....the money we now save weekly on my groceries we are moving to hiring a cleaning service just stay focused and look forward to what you will gain with the surgery. Take a deep breath. Say a prayer and relax!

I’m getting it done the same day!

I’d say it’s normal because I feel the same!
