Did anybody else have a separate appointment to talk to anesthesia before,their surgery? I have an appointment with a Dr Patel on August 24th, that's like 10 days before my September 5th surgery. Has anybody else,had a separate appointment like this?

And I'll be there with a cooler of Premier Protein, my Peaches and Cream will taste better in good company.

@Brassapple keep on with it. The sleeve is a fine surgery, wouldn't have worked for me but that doesn't downgrade it for others. How long has it been since your surgery? There are a lot of sleevers who will give you moral suport if you reach out to them. My friend Orchids and Drag9bs has been having some difficulties herself but she is a wonderful person to reach out to. And she is just one of many others on here. None of us has everything worked out perfect, goodness knows I haven't but we keep on keeping on and eventually things eork,out. We'll have your back if you let us.

Please @Kella112 don't go away, I was just getting to know you and I want us to be friends. There are many fine good hearted people on here and we really do want to help you. You always can count on me, sometimes I do joke but I do take my weight loss journey seriously, been trying for surgery since August,2015, things got.in my way, had a few roadblocks, but I finally will get to finish in September. You have given me much to think about. I had a mental image that I was stocky then I looked in the mirror and realized I am really OBESE. Now I am wondering what size my mind will think I am after surgery? Until my clothes start to get loose,my pants fall down and my tops fall off one shoulder will be able to believe I am really losing weight? The main benefit I have seen with my pre surgery weight loss is my rump has gotten flatter, this is a mixed blessing because I can't stand hard furniture and wooden chairs anymore. Excuse me while I have a PLOM moment. PLOM stands for poor little old me. 😯

I hope so, gonna be a struggle,i had the option of 2,3,or 4 week,,i chose,4 because doctor and dietician said I would heal quicker and smoother, and lessen the amount,or surgical stress on me. At72 I'll grasp at any straws. Plus I wouldn't want him to have to switch to open because he couldn't pry my NASH liver out of the way in any,other manner. Oh it wouldn't be the end of the world, I had a right paramedian back in 1984, But,a lot Water under the bridge since then and who knows if I would do that good now? So let him perform his laprascopic magic like he planned, he will be happy and by,extension I will be too.

Well RHode I am proud of you for you doing this for him and yourself. Overweight isn't great, Obesity is even worse because because of all the health problems it can cause. Little guy is goi,g to,have a strong, healthy, fun to be with play-partner soon. Thank You for loving him enough to do this÷👩&👦forever!

If there is much salt in your brother that might make you retain Fluid. But keep on with your activities and I'm sure it will smooth out.😛
