Sit up or prop yourself up in bed. Start sipping water gently to reduce the acid" fire' in your throat. My grandmotherly advice would be to sip a little milk to set t le things down or take a Tums, if you're still feeling miserable after the sun rises, call your doctor's office and check in with them.❤and a Hug!

we are proud of you no matter what but if you achieve your Extra Class that would be gravy on the biscuit(old country saying) city equivalent whipped cream and cherry on top of your hot fudge sundae. Ever notice how food is mentioned so often in compliments?

Sleeve surgery and acid reflux, got worse or better?
Frustr8 replied to Jenlo's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
no but a doctor in my locale did them, he's retired now, one of the first in Ohio. I might as well tell you about it instead postponing it. The linx is a band containing strong magnets. Its placed at the base of the esophagus right above the stomach on the outside surface. All sounds good, the strength of the magnets keep any juices in the stomach, so no reflux. Ah but there is a dark side, to So,ithis you never be able to vomit again, no matter how sick you feel. And if you accidentally (or intentionally) take in something toxic or poisonous, there is no way to remove it. I'm not sure if you can even pass an endoscopy tube down throughall those strong magnet. No I did not and never would i have that, procedure. -

Little Green getting little(r)
Frustr8 replied to Little Green's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You'll do it, I have complete faith,in you. Remember you're going to keep me from having to get a job in the Jolly Green Giant's vegetable factory. Please save me, I don't want bag peas and onions throughout eternity!💦😪 -
All good ideas but Bryn910 hit it perfect in my book. Hey don't obsess and get your self in a stew today, okay? I'd trade places with you in a ❤beat, although mine will probably take place next month, I am impatient. I started my journey in August 2015, not quite over yet. I may be a direct descendant of the Hebrew children wandering in the desert year after year after year. I'm sure my anscestoress was complaining too. She would be saying "We didn't have it all that bad in Egypt. Then, Avram, you had to listen to that Moses. Now we're going around and circles in this desert. Sand in my clothes, sand in my sandels, the children are all turning wild, not being,in civilization. Mama was right, she said you'd never amount to much. I want to go back home!" That was Frust8 the First, way back in history. And here I am shouting "Surgery and Surgery now" Guess you don't fall too far from your family tree. So smile, relax and tomorrow is going to be the start of very good things in your life. And next month if mine still happens you can yell Yippee with me.😝

How would you have reacted?

Hey maybe we all don't have a Technicolor moment. Remember the Wizard of Oz movie, yes the 30s version. Things are all black and white, subdued until the syrorm c and Dorothy ends up in Oz, maybe a life lesson there! -

Male Facial Hair Loss Question
Frustr8 replied to Syntax_Attack's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
In my life PCOS stands for Pretty Crappy Outlook Sweetheart as well as the traditional meaning . Ever since menopause I could grow a goatee on my chin if I didn't watch out. And the few times I didn't wax, pluck, or shave, it's gray whereas my head hair never did. I did not drew the winning ticket in the Life Lottery. And the girls in my family for the last 4 generations start sprouting chin hair at 27.😪👎 -

Well my good buddies and peeps I am a redhead- well actually strawberry blonde- but it's in the red family. Back when I was walking into of my least favorite clients room , yeah we all had them even if we were professional to show it. Her name was Virginia, I can mention,it because she became Satan's private. Secretary years ago, she thrived on being objectionable. She took one look at me and said "I supposed you put something on your hair again" now every chance. she got she made a snide remark up to and including my morals. This day I was a little fed-up- I looked her in the eye and said "No Virginia, it just rusted". If she would tell me " no use losing weight, you'll still be ugly."👿 -
