I have been up, down, close and, not so close, approvable and rejected, wanted and unwanted and I 've been stumbling through since August 2015, not only do,i have the jacket, I had to sew the fool thing. Surgery July 2018 or I disintegrate into a quivering ball. Dr Bradley Needleman is my,potential RnY-evator but I STILL don't have an exact date. New Mantra RNY IN JULY OR I CRY!

    First Post!

I wonder what OSU will do wi5h me? Well, yeah that's true, but I am bringing up a point. IAM ALLERGIC TO HIBICLENS. The last time at my last surgery I looked a cross between sunburn and acid burn and hurt! It felt, like somebody gave,me a rundown with coarse sandpaper. I know there are nurses, who have, worked surgery and a lot of other smart people. What to,the do,with a person like me? Do,i get,my mound of tummy painted with betadine or what? Pretty sure I don't have an iodine sensitivity. would have shoed up,before now, if I had. Feel free to scratch, your head on my behalf!!πŸ˜–

    Am I Wasting My Time?

Nobody can take what you're learning ahead of time away from you but you might be a better candidate for Mexico. Now I am going to tell you something and I realize I'll get no bonus points from Alex Brecher, don't do this for that. Please pretty please consider BariatricPalMX If you do decide to go to Mexico. If I wasn't 72, didn't receive clearance because of low BMI, and the necessary money I would go there in a heartbeat! Alex Brecher,Bariatric Pal' s founder, who could afford anywhere else if he chose, chose Dr Ilian and Bariatric PalMX. for his own recent surgery I think that speaks for itself. Besides it's located in a beautiful area , not some back-alley clinic. Andvwhenthings are done update us, okay?😝

    July surgery

I suspect I'll say ditto too, I bet Dr Needleman will put me onπŸ’‰ Lovenox also. Remember I am also 72-- so age is also an increased risk. If I got to vote, I'd go for Xarelto, had it post both knee replacements, worked great and it's pills.😝
  18. That's July 13th, probably close to my time. As soon as I know I will tell everyone but we may be transitioning, over together! I can hardly wait!πŸ˜›πŸ‘πŸ£

I know it is Eid al- Fitr, my phone is a heathen with missplaced spell-correct, it not only hates foreign words it misspells English as well! Please forgive me, the phone is beyond forgiveness!πŸ˜ͺ

Any June 2018 Sleevers in Here?!

And although I am probably late, Happy Rid al-Fitr. I hope there would be a Muslim I could wish that for. May your surgery on the 28th be blessed with excellent healing. I will be having a RnY in July, probably the middle, and am hopeful mine will go well also.

    Don't pray for me

@ Spaulachick I like and respect your posting. Got any room in your kitchen. for a raised militant former evangelical Christians who is tolerant center now, still Christian but of the love and let live variety. I don't convert, I don't condesend and with my cousin Shani walked our cousin down the aisle when he married his husband. The whirring sound was either Tibetan prayer wheels or our relatives turning over in their graves. No never mind, life is too short to not find someone to love and loves you in return. And I cried the same there as I do at any wedding!πŸ‘πŸ˜›πŸ‘

    Question.

Almost forgot my EGD because my gastroenterologist did it instead of my surgeon. I have gastritis which I am on a higher dose than average PPI, most, people are on Zantac, Peocid , Prilosec, I am on Dexilant, my gastro called it the Ferrari of tummy medicine, it would be over $350 at WalMart, the cheapest pharmacy in town, God only knows what Rite-Aid and CVS would charge, thankfully I only have a $3.70 co pay on it. Anyhow I'm cleared for that also. Forgot to say welcome- always happy to meet new Bariatric friends. Any questions otherwise, please ask. We'll do our best to give you a good answer.!πŸ˜›

    Thought I was dying

Well,lex2287 the classic pre discovery gall bladder diet is sauerkraut and spareribs, you were just different with your chicken, Don't blame all poultry for that, it's just a shame that fowl treated you foul. Get your surgery and I will pray your story will get better. At least you have only one crabby gall bladder to donate to medical science and he'll never have the chance to hurt you that way again! You are going to be all better soon!

    Question.

And my love, I am older yet. I have achieved the fine old age of 72 and am a Surgery candidate. In July 2018 I will be receiving a RnY at OSU-Wexner Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. The following are what I've done in preparation: Cardiology-my testing was more extensive since cardiac issues bloomed on my family tree like apples. Cleared Pulmanology- my lungs rate somewhere between A-and B+Cleared Psychology/ Psychiatry- some programs prefer one over the other- Cleared Sleep Lab- I have strong amount of Sleep Apnea among 1st and 2nd degree relatives- I do have it- under. c Pap therapy- Cleared Dietary/Nutrition-cleared for preliminaries- liquid presurgical diet loaning ahead Exercise Therapist- met with her- set up plan which will work to tone me,up for future- Passed Life After Baiatric Seminar- online just did this last week so passed it Pre-surgical bloodwork-did already- found some vitamin deficits- prescribed same EKG- my,lady was taken less than 6 months ago during all the cardiology- they accepted it Chest X-ray- recent one acceptable Presurgical appointment with surgeon- not yet but have, met with his nurse-practioner several times. I'll met with him if he wants, otherwise I'll see him first in OR? And that's how the Frustr8 Fine Tuning has gone.πŸ˜›πŸ‘πŸš©
  25. cb 1986 tis me, your friendly old as the hills poster. Anesthesia and sedation is pretty cool these days. Not at all like the bad old days when you puked until you swore your toenails were going be next thing coming out. A sisterly FYI, ask for the antinauesea patch, goes behind your ear, works as smooth as A hot knife through butter. You might get a little blurry vision afterwards, most people don't, but you weren't going to perform brain surgery for a few days anyway. Oh I'm not going to say there is no chance for nausea, but 8 to 5 you won't and those are ok odds at the track. Dread is usually worse than the actual thing, and bariatric surgery is one,of the v smoother ones around. You want it to go nice and easy, well surprise they,do too and the whole staff is devoted to making that happen . Do you think they want you telling your friends Dr Whopplemeir and Blessed Confusion Hospital. are a,bunch of total idiots. Nope, they care about you but they also care a lot for their reputation and budget, every goes good, you praise them and the money keeps coming in. Something, goes bad and you tell people, the revenues fall off. Well that's how things go in the world these days. If surgery was such a fearsome thing I wouldn't be a candidate myself. Yep you heard right, I'm having surgery also. At the great or bad age of 72, depending on your viewpoint I will be receiving a RnY bypass at OSU in Columbus Ohio. And I sincerely believe it will make a wonderful change in my,life, I am being given a good chance of living long enough to be a nuisance to my family and the Western World. I came into third world screaming and with red hair, hair is still red and I'm not leaving without a fight. I still can influence the world🌏if I'm given a chance! Hang around, the best is yet to be, come watch with me!πŸ‘πŸ˜›
