I knew in December 2017 post my EGD with Dr Mujataba, my gastrointestinal specialist I had active gastritis and a small gastric ulcer who I named Hector, result of NSAID overusage, negative for h pylori, at that time I was removed from omepraxole which didn't do Dicks*** for me to Dexilent, things were down to a subtle roar, then I had my surgery and the Verdompt omeprazole is back. Sprinkle it on your food, they said, it will keep you from ulcerating and stricturing . Ha Ha. bet you dollars to donuts the worthless Mr O had led to my current troubles. Told them it wasn't going to work! My late husband's grandfather and my own paternal grandfather had the same motto, one in Dutch, the other in American English It Goes: Them that don't listen, got to feel! Problem is that : I have the misery they should be feeling. Why would they not let me substitute Dexilent for the other PPI ? I could have opened one end of the capsules, no problem!😪

Down 23 pounds at 4 weeks, still on Stage 2, on October. 12 I have a follow-up EGD to see why Precious does not want to accept thickers and pureed, swelling should be down so stricture? She is happy with the limited diet but I may😟 die with cream of mushroom breath.🍄

I am old as the hills, I have subjected myself to some downright weird diet plans, because I was desperate to lose weight, tired of people treating me like a second-class citizen, which is how obese people are treated. I got weary of people telling me I was lazy, unmotivated, uncommited, that I desired to look the way I did. And the older you get the worse the slings and arrows get, you have people telling you that you are a waste of space, you have cornered too much of the world's food , people are dying in the South Sudan because of you and you alone. Only you know if you have reached a breaking point. I stood it a lot longer than I should have, I was taught to repect others, to not make wavesm The fact they didn't respect me didn't seem part of the equation. But we all reach out own Rubicon. If you have, seek surgery, use your surgery for the good of you, and live health at a weight you desire. If you don't I still wish you well. Everybody has to live their life.

What happened is the past: I can't change yesterday and this I accept. I am perfectly okay the way I am: this is acceptable and I have the power to change my tomorrows. Strength for the future lies within ME.
