Frustr8 replied to BajanSleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Bajan Sleeve, long time since I saw a posting , don't know how I missed your August posting, but 50 pounds is very respectful and in the 6 weeks since I would guess you have lost more. Still having difficulties moving to puree, but know after Friday I will have an answer why! -

Being wasteful.......
Frustr8 replied to AshMarie794's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Not too much of a loss, it is made of hydrogenated coconut oil and gives me GERD,every time. Give me natural whipped cream, well perhaps not, I need nothing to raise my weight. -
Bingeing with Bypass
Frustr8 replied to MissLindseyR's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Oh it is and I am equally proud of you, Wanda. Tomorrow I see my surgeon Dr Needleman and then Friday I am supposed to have an EGD to find out why pouch won't accept purees, I upchuck every time I try. Thought I had a firm ride, but she had a conflict and can't do it. Has to take her husband to a specialist that day. Now if my other 2 transports can't do it, I'm not sure what to do. I really need that test badly or I fear I will progress no further. I am at a standstill ,one could say. -
I found the Cheesecake grainy, but I โค the Orange Creamsicle one. Maybe Cheesecake would have better if I had blended instead of shook. Might add some frozen blueberries,i have a 5 lb bag taking up a corner of my freezer.๐ถ

Bingeing with Bypass
Frustr8 replied to MissLindseyR's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Hi again @whitedragonruth, an update. Since my surgery on September 5th I have lost(never to be found again) 22.5 pounds. I did it, could not without my surgery, and still hoping to be "less of a woman " than today but I have broken the 300 pound barrier so now in two-for-ville and heading toward one-derland , a destination many of us yearn for. Come join me when you can! -

Does anyone feel pressured by surgeon to have the bypass (instead of sleeve)
Frustr8 replied to Mayastone's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So in this agreement who is winning, VSG vs RnY? I do know in my facility is you are self-pay RuN costs about $2000 more, hate to imply why your surgeon was leaning that way, but not impossible. Let us pray she only has your best interests at โค heart!๐ฅ๐๐ฅ -
