Unbearable pain on the right side under my ribs
Frustr8 replied to COL120's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Nope the classic gall bladder is right subcostal(under the rib) and either straight through to the back or mostly right shoulder , like someone took their fist, and hit you. the start in perinavel, and down to lower right side is classic appendix, the location is called McBurneys Point. Another way to find it? put your right hand on your waist, thumb to your back, now dread your fingers down over your abdomen, MeBurneys Point is where your 4th finger, the one next to your little one.lands.👉😛👈 -
And after my V8 original,r7ns out i have another member of the V8 family to try, it's called Healthy Greens and what it says it contains sound pretty good. Has anyone on here ever tried it? Sounds, like their answer to the Green Smothie crowd.🍶

Fast Recovery - is this abnormal?
Frustr8 replied to camille88's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Take things very slowly, just because it worked out when you tried does not mean it always w8ll. I started out wonderfully smooth, no hospital pain, thoug Dr Needleman did not make and fashion me a pouch. And I started out with good tolerance. Did not stay that way, I have a stricture between my stomach and small intestine and only liquids drizzle through. There has been one attempt to stretch it on October 12, did not work so my doctor will try again on October 26 to give me the chance to eat solids. 7 weeks on a limited Stage 2 diet is zero fun. But I still will claim victory and this m8ght be Just right time for it_ -
First day "soft" food- too dry?
Frustr8 replied to Lizaboo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
try some fat-free gravy and or a little diet margarine the next time, things go better with a lubrication. -
Unbearable pain on the right side under my ribs
Frustr8 replied to COL120's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do you have an intact gall bladder?: did your surgeon have any trouble with your liver? And do you have any evidence before surgery of gastric ulcers? These are my best guesses for right subcostal pain that radiates to the back. But I am just a medical feel on BP website, I have no medical or nursing license, and those are the folks who may have better answers than me. And the least worrisome-- you might still have operative gas in there and you have a pocket of it under your diaphragm still! Any more than this, I'm sure I don't know. -

Be smart,be careful, come back to us safe and sound. We all miss you, and everyone is right, your pictures are fab. Hopefully when you come back on October 26 I will have good news to share too. Prayers that this time I will have success, can't continue as I am.😥💦😥 -
My guess, an autumn because of your rosacea, other wise you would be a spring, I'm, to get exact A May basically spring but can wear Some of the summer palate. So what am I wearing now? A gray sweatsuit, and I know that isn't my shade.

probably someone on Amerian TV or YouTube, is my guess. Not familiar with this person, maybe something regional? -
So what did you swich to? I always preferred Premier Protein but the shelves are empty. Some flavors of Muscle Milk were okay, most of the others I have such a strong canned-milk taste it totally turned me off÷🍶

So happy for you, Separ1418. It is time your trials started going away. Now you can get on with life.-❤😛 -
Yep you're in my neighborhood.🏠🏫🏡 Things have turned sour with my RnY, I can make it to Columbus🏣 NEXT FRIDAY for my EHJ Endoscopy to stretch my pouch opening, but the person who was supposed to take me Tuesday for my surgeon appointment ditched on me, I no longer drive 🚘and Columbus , where everything is, is 50 miles SW 🚧of me. ⚠Even if I had a bicycle🚲 I'd never make it in time. Oh I'm searching but either they turn me down or don't answer. Discouraging to the max. Meanwhile, unlike you I burp, belch and puke, my pouch accepts only liquids, 🍶and at that a small amount at a time. Pushing 50 pound weight lost but a dismal way to do it! Am I mad at my surgeon NO--- Sorry for the surgery? Not really-- I just feel like my body🙊 is now defective where when I was still fat and sassy🙉 it was not!😪😥💦

Premier Protein – Not Premier for Bariatric Patients!
Frustr8 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
Hey Peeps, have you ever read the side panel on Premier Protein and I quote"Notice:Use This Product as a Good Supplement only. Do not use for weight reduction." At $1.75 a container, $6.99 a 4 pack at Wally World when they have it in, shelves bare because of the legal hassle, who beside a desperate weight reducer would pay THAT cost? A bad for you Mickey D milkshake is cheaper than THAT! -
Oh I pray So, I really do. The person set up to take me to Columbus for my surgeon appointment Tuesday ditched on me late Friday night, now I have been scurring trying to find someone, so far Nada. If I can not find someone by Monday afternoon I may have to cancel, but I do have someone to take me for my endoscopy and possible stricture stretching/repair Friday, but she is not available Tuesday. Now my st9mach is nervous, been sipping a protein shake all am, I know I need that protein but sometimes I wish I could starve myself into iv,fluids, Yeah nobody is going to believe a 290 lb person may be starving inside. Yeah, I really could not harm myself like that, but in the short term it would be so E*A*S*Y. Tearful Rant over!

Few days before surgery and I'm anxious! Any tips?
Frustr8 replied to vsgnewbie77's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
No tears, No fears, you can and will do fine! I started out good, and my minor difficulties will be repaired this week , FYI I was a bypass and my problem related to that, if you are a VSG you won't have it. Most if not all sleevers do wonderfully. But keep in touch, you're now part of Our Family.
