Well I am atypical RNY, I have never yet had diarrhea and I am over 7 weeks out. My stool💩loves me so much it hangs around until an enema or MoM, oh it is still soft because of the Miralax, but IT DOES HATE LEAVING!

One thing that bugs me and maybe it shouldn't. Every time I go to my urologist office they ask if I have had a hysterectomy.? Apparently post hyster. you go to the same setting as men for their ultrasound when they scan see if your bladder emptied out. They have asked so many times I feel like an "underacheiver: because I still have an uterus, and if that Verdompt Dr Prior has way I never will get rid of it. So stop asking. already, okay?

I have a complaint, I am 72. (isthere ANYONE who doesn't know THAT?) and although I believe I am far from senility the same cannot be said for my colon. Oh it is back to moving things along, not much because I have yet to achieve anything but a liquid diet, I take 2 doses of Miralax a day to keep softened and smooth, okay now to my problem, maybe nothing to complain about but it is bugging ME! See the stool moves down💩and sits inside the rectal opening. I think my ending muscular colon muscles have lost their impulse, are they merely on vacation or is this permanent? Oh if I use an enema the fluid helps Mr💩to emerge but if I sit there, concentrate and strain nothing happens.Would a Squatty Potty help that much! HELP!!!

Yeah I would think the gap did help, I think it would be uber-hard to do them both at ONCE!

And piggy-backing myself in here, found something new at my Wal-Mart. Called Purely Inspired Organic Protein Plant-based Nutritional Shake still 20 gr of protein, pea/brown rice based, I got the French Vanilla, I think I can sorta feel the base but quite drinkable. Not that much more than the traditionals, I have been having some dairy issues myself, think I will have no trouble drinking the 4-pack.

Cindih576, my nurse Practioner told me I could up to 6 oz at a time, told her "you don't know Precious Pouch very well, I tried to drink 6 oz- I was in misery for over a hour, thought I had popped something until the pain left. I will keep on with 4 oz if it is All The Same!" She conceded that was OK,better cause I'm not into misery. I have enough of that with the stricture! Tomorrow maybe Dr Noria 😷will make me all better!

Ready for my own Throckmorton story? I live in a smallish Ohio city, Mount Vernon, known for 3 things, Daniel Decatur Emmett, who wrote " Dixie", Paul Lynde the late actor, and population 20,000. My late Mama grew up near a small village, Centerburg, the Geographic Center of Ohio, population maybe. a thousand if you count people, dogs, cats, and the people in the cemetery. No my stoma, the opening between my pouch and the Jejunem, it has narrowed to the point it only lets liquids dribble through, no purees, no soft solids. At 7 weeks the run of the mill sleeved/ bypasser is solidly there, not moi! Been swilling down a very limited liquid diet, protein count okay, taking in fluids, no clue to the amount of calories, taking vitamins, minerals, Zofran, ulcer medicines, but a pee-poor recovery after a beautiful 2 week start. But it is fixable, tomorrow for the second time my surgeon's partner Dr Noria will try. Couldn't do it 2 weeks ago, I also have developed 5 ulcers in that area, at that time a bleeding risk, hopeful things are calmer band she can have success! Incidently you have a namesake, my son's cell phone's name is Eugene Throckmorton. See,all the phones in my house have names that way on the contact list you just think we have a lot of friends. And I know a branch of your family in Ohio, a semi-friend of my Aunt Grace, may she rest in peace, so my son and I chose that name, never thought I'd find another individual with the name.😝
