Still a little early for a definate answer, but I believe things are marginally better with my knees, the 2 replacement, only 85% as good as the oringal, but I am still able,to be walking, without surgery,probably not.

Worse case scenario-An Ulcer? I would still have that checked out. I am the unproud custodian of 6 ulcers, three in my stomach, three in my jejunem, those probably would have been duodenal except as a bypass, I am only working with last 2/3 of my small intestine And the only one I could be blamed fo4bwas Hector, the one won from overuse of NSAIDS, they rest kind of snuck,in when nobody was looking out for them!💥💥💥💦💥💥💥

Diverticulitis/ diveticulosis- have a GI or your PCP check it out, those little Pouchings of your Colon can give you grief.

And I wonder also what caused this?

Well not super okay. Some things are no better, not adding up. Okay? 2nd attempt, Dr Noria said she opened me to 10mm, sounds fine except 2 weeks ago I went into 1st attempt strictured to 9mm. I like her, please,believe me, maybe she is doing well with what she us dealing with But , by accident, incidental or oopsie, I never lost conciousness during it all yesterday. Was positioned on my left side, left arm at 45 degree angle from bodyn right arm and hand straight out and flat on top of blanket, that was hand with IV present in wrist vein.This time instead of just nurse and Dr Noria, there was a young female doctor, her last name was the same as one cousin's ex-husband, our family Elizabeth Taylor, on 6th or 7th now. Think her lawyer charges her Bulk Rate. And then another one, male this time, mid40s, anesthesia even maybe pulmonary? Dr Holcombe puts the bite block in my mouth, okay. The male doctor says We are starting the sedation, you'll be asleep in just a minute or so. Okay, waiting, waiting, didn't happen. Wasn't uncomfortable, see they had sprayed the nasty deadening liquid in, you gargle it for 10 seconds, they count it down for you and then you swallow it down.Felt her introduce the endoscopy in, everything loose enough, did feel her🙉monkey-doodling around, a weird sensation, but I carried 3 babies, I got somewhat used to feeling aliens inside me. Dr Noria stood at hip level towards the bed end to do her instrumentation, okay, still watching, Finally she withdrew the tube, rather a swish-swooshy sensation, she says to the other doctors Time to wake her up ! then they removed the bite block, and she is rounding the foot of the bed, I squirmed over into my back and announced" I'm still Awake" other 2 acted like I had just woke up and was still in a dream -like state. Dr Noria got a an odd look on her face, best way I can describe,it; like a child caught running her fingers through a fresh-frosted cake and standing there licking her fingerm! She changed the subject "I opened you to 10 mm, don't change your diet, don't add things and we'll do this again in 2 weeks:" Still doesn't negate the fact that I was awake, does it? Think next time, I will sweetly ask " Are you going to put me to sleep like the first time or leave me awake like the second? And,it the sedation is a failure, should I wiggle my fingers to let you know? Don't want anything too tense so you can't get through. Wonder what she'll say then? Otherwise, except for teatering,on the verge of dehydration, chronically dizzy from insufficent calories, bewildered by this turn,of events, bored with what I can ingest, getting discouraged with the slowness of it all, skin incisions all look pretty healed , my abdome is starting to look like a balloon somebody let the air out of, losing 3-5 pounds a week, why not, it's not like I'm eating more than calorie need to keep body functioning But I am doing what I can when I can, praying my vitamins and minerals are,enough that I don't permanently injure myself.😝🎁🚩📦💞😝

Reading over this thread, good one Incidently, is my excruciating pain, mid back to left of spine, due to Dr Noria's atempt to manipulate and stretch my stoma to an acceptable opening and hopefully remaining open size? Thought it might be from the contortions to receive an endoscopy, But IDK, with how our nerves sense things, is it impossible or maybe acceptable? I would ask if there is anyone who has experienced this or am I out in the wilderness crying💦 all by myself?

Still not Fixed Up, ready to cater my Own Pity Party, I am losing much hopefulness about the whole Proceeding. And yesterday by accident? Asked the 2 other doctors, the nurse and most of all, Dr Noria? Did you guys realize I remained awake? Dr Noria got a look on her face like a child caught taking a swipe off the top of a freshly frosted cake and licking her fingers **Changed the subject, said" I dialated you to 10 mm", sounds good until you realise before first attempt I was at 9 mm.Progress IDK, do you? And I am at 7+weeks, a point where many, if not, all of my Surgery Day twins, Sleeve or RNY, are on purees and transitioning to soft and regular foods. Yeah ***I know we ALL make our journey toward final health, final size and weight goal, and a Bee-You-tee-full Future but OMG do I even have one? Someday I will be the scrawniest, sad-looking old broad seen, carting a thermos of bone broth or something similar. And watching the rest of the WLS community bouncing by happily. I expected hard, difficult but Mount Everest, Mount Denali even Kilimanjaro all in one, Nope didn't book for that?🎢🌆

And yesterday for my Second attempt at releasing my,stoma stricture, 288.5 pounds, didn't help much with things, you might say A Rousing Thud. Details available if anybody interested. Feel like maybe people are getting bored with the Frustr8 Follies.

No my b. staff wanted it because it could be sprinkled on what you're eating, don't try soup, that was my mistake last pm, spent hour , hour and half puking, it is Bitter-tasting. Might be okay in applesauce, cottage cheese, maybe yogurt, those last 2 I do puke up. I believe( someone correct me if I am in error) all of these are extended release, by opening capsules your stomach gets the benefit instead of your intestines farther down., And @Ronnysgal if you want to pho,ehow my October 26th attempt went, tell me, I really hate boring people all the time.

Zofran from the begining, Zofran still, and the omeprazole made me puke last evening. I DO NOT LIJE OR APPRECIATE THAT STUFF! I was on it from my gastroenterologist when Hector my baby gastric,ulcer was discovered last December, and was back on it( Doctor Needleman &staff#s idea post surgery) and I now have 5 additional, 2 in my RNY pouch, 3 on the back wall of the jejunem. Why will no one listen when I shout that it IS NOT gastropotective for ME? Dang it, let me go back to my Dexilent, that did work!

This could be an entire thread Things in School I thought I WOULD NEVER use! And I'll give you a quasi-one. I wanted to take Basic and Business Arithmetic, "oh No" Said my High School guidance YOU are college material, so I took Algebra 1 and 2, Plane and Solid Geometry, and Calculus plus Physics. I am now a semi-retired housewife in Ohio, exactly what good does my slide rule( which I still have-seldom throw things away) do ME now? I'm like the lady who told her bank "I can't be OVERDRAWN, see I still have checks Left!" I might be wise but penny foolish!😪💰💦

Maybe cheap fast food will become like the ex-husband I barely mention because he is way back in the past? Been pretty righteous recently, haven't been to the Golden Arches or their ilk, then I passed a Wendy's, we have a high per-capita because Wendy's started in Dublin Ohio. Oh Frustr8 , old girl, maybe SOMEDAY you can have a quarter of a Single Cheeseburger, hold the bun, hold most of the veggies, maybe tomato and onion? Will My Day ever Cone?😞😪😞
