As a Nurse you are not centered on illness as our Pysician brothers and sisters are, but on health and better life outcomes. We are caregivers in the truest sense, so give a little of THAT to yourself. Instead of Physician, 😷heal Thyself, it will be Nurse Sustain Yourself, Be kind to Yourself! Had Spring, Had Summer, Had my surgery finally on September 5th, then came Autumn, and the year goes forward and tonight was our Autumnal Time Change and the things as they change, they remain. There is a new batch of "Newbie" seekers, and this year's surgeries become their mentors and Success Stories. May All of them be as Wished and the Success you had once Dreamed of!😛😷😇👼

Surgery was wonderful, so was my post-surgery days, until I started chanting "I am thinking I am developing A Stricture" and them saying No You Aren't 1 it still is early 2 You're swollen inside 3 You never had one before 4 We are the professionals, not you! 5 Give yourself a month or so, we doubt it and you! 6 Do you desire that much being the center of the universe? And guess who was right? ME Me ME! Took them untill October 12 to do an endoscopy, yep stricture measuring,9mm, And also 5 or 6 brand new ulcers, 2 within the pouch and the remainder on the back wall of my Jejunem. And this was 1 time I would have wished to be wrong.That time didn't work, neither did October and 26 and this Friday, November 9th,i get explored once again! May this be the "💰 Money Shot! Fearful may need eventual open surgery, no they didn't say so, but my inner Medical Geekness, maybe so?

Chuck Walsh, your program might give you a Pass if you're taking 2 a day. I take 1 prenatal, smallish, not expensive, I take one of WalMart's more generic brands I think Spring Valley. Any way both OSU, my Bariatric surgery program and my local "bandaid" station Knox Community Hospital in my town have said my vitamin levels are 99% perfect, also my minerals.I take liquid calcium,citrate 2 times and have been on Magnesium 1000 a day to prevent leg cramps, take 2 250 pills in Am and 2 more in evening, that adds up to right amount. Now take the sublingual B12 from Bariatric Pal store, 1000 and my NP was extremely happy with them. Used to take extra vitamin A and D before surgery, have not to re-add them.. Of course I will have a 3 month lab check to,my levels before my 3 month. It is a joy to no longer grind those twice daily chewables, nasty doing, vile tasting, and I think would gag the average maggot!

And alas, it still continues. Next Friday , 9th November I go for another attempt to repair this stricture endoscopically. And I am beginning to fear I will never get better. I basically am still on strained soups , brothses, protein drinks, half strenght punches and juices and water water water..

And babycakes, celebrate when it does and for the majority it will. You don't want to move to Stricture City with me! Oh it's an exclusive location, but. it's lonely there. You might be in the penthouse, but there are few to talk to- And every time you think you have found a buddy theirs gets fixed. You are left sad , sorrowful and querying "Why me Lord? I wanted to heal perfect too!" Well attempt #3 will be this Friday the 9th of November, 2 months, 4 days after the initial surgery. All shamans, medicine men and others of this ilk, Frustr8 wants made All Better!😷👍😪

My Carafate are huge white kinda oval pills, I have to pour boiling or very hot water on them. let them soften , I usually use a shot glass, let it cool and then stir up the slurry. And lucky lucky me, I get to do this every 6 hours around the clock. Either Dr Noria my Bariatric Surgeon / endoscopist has great faith that this is going to shrink/eradicate my 5or6 newer ulcers or she is benefiting from a major drug industry kickback! And it has all the charm of ingesting white flour paste.👅

Yep thats how the place got its name , most Daddy's people were between Newark in Licking County and Zaneville in Muskingum county which has the dubious honors of being half-way between Columbus and Pittsburgh Pa, at least that's what THEY say, to me it looks they're closed to Columbus and the famous Y-Bridge where the Licking and Muskingum Rivers join. Never liked Zanesville, thought it was too dirty, had some kinfolk around Newell WVa, I always thought the whole upper peninsula of WV a is THAT WAY. They also probably didn't like me either! 😛LOL

Rabbit with me, nurses probably thought Poor Thing, she needs her Sleepy Bunny, don't care if the thought I had regressed to childhood , she was soft and gentle against my Tum Tum!
