Well it is 9:10 am EST on 10th November and the latest Frustr8 Update. Yesterday after sitting 3 hours in Endiscopy waiting room, I underwent my 3rd pist-surgery EGJ. Dr Noria was able to stretch and dialate my stomal opening to 12 mm. Still remain on Stage 2A diet, do not advance to Stages 3 or 4 where many surgery twins are by now. And I am still alive and breathing and ingesting somewhat. Those are GOOD points. Now some bad ones. She asked if Tomkitten or I had 4esumed smoking. No Mam'm, neither of us ever had or would . Well my ulcers have worsened, now approaching bleeding/perforation. To ensure that does not happen, I am To No longer be in the presence of an active smoker or anyone who has fresh residue on their clothing. And I must up my daily protein consumption to 90 grams, difficult sans meat, eggs, tofu et al but I will start adding protein powder, powdered milk or anything else my fevered brain comes up with. Down to protein shakes I loathe, WM has dropped every Premier Protein except vanilla, which I have gotten burned out on and chocolate which I have been allergic to for 43 years. Latest stats SD september5th 2018 SW319 current weight 278 and DROPPING. Mood Gloomy ☁with occasional brief flashes💬🌀 of sunlight 🌞

For you. and anyone else remotely interested, endoscopy#3 post surgery, able to open more, not enough to effect a cure, but moving ahead. Bad news, ulcers have worsened, now forbidden to be in presence of active smokers or anyone who may have retained active residue, next step bleeding/perforation? And yes sans Carafate and Zofran at proper intervals, I still puke. Good news, have dropped from 295 to 278 in less than a months But Dayum such A WAY to achieve. THIS!🌈👈😝👉

Gosh I think you're correct, I have been sexually continent for 6,5 years since Late Lamented shuffled off this mortal coil. Like to say it's because I'm picky, truth is : I am 72, obese, look 😫 tired and NOBODY has found me THAT appealing! Don't go many places besides grocery shopping, lawyer offices, doctor offices, creditors I can't pay online, occassional visits to JFS and church. I'll take a driver's license, just relocated , New landlord stated nobody there for months as he just got through remodeling. Yet in today's mail came an New Ohio Drivers license, they now mail them instead of giving out the day you apply. And the plot thickens, it was issued the day I moved in. I have more pain with my strictu4es and ulcers than I ever did post-SURGERY. Sometimes I do like efflurage on my upper abdomen to try to get the pouch to relax and stop clenching. Good,surgery, wonderful beginning to recovery, then this happens and I would like to give,this pain to the political candidates that won without my vote! Taint no fun, my friend, 3rd endoscopy and they haven't fixed it YET! And here I sit because they are running behind! Procedure scheduled 15 minutes ago!😭😪😷😪😭

I lost 15 pounds on my liver-shrink, did it the entire month of August, knew my surgeon found NASH when he examined me in mid-July so I commuted myself to shrink it down. For each week you liver shrink it decreases 2.4% in size so mine decreased between 12 and 15%, and it made it easier for Dr Needleman and less pain for me post-surgery. And I was very proud of ME that I could do it. And you will have your own Pride Moments on your journey, remember not to always judge yours by others, we each make our own kind of 🎶 in weight loss, and it is the Right Song for Each of Us!👈😛👉

I have a stricture of my stoma they just can't get stretched so I can get off my liquid diet. No worries , it is relatively rare, but I still will never regret surgery, I have lost 60+ pounds since July 31st, something else wonderful to life, and as the Fat Caccoon cracks maybe the outside world will see the real Frustr8 bursting free. I always knew I was cute, smart, worthwhile to know but the outside 🌎 they see Fat and deprecate us all. Covers can be so blotched, torn &worn, open the Book Of Me, I am well worth the Read!

anybody remember castor oil? Dumb doctor wanted me to drink Orange Juice and castor oil to put myself into labor. Remember telling someone I think I'm greasing the Wrong Hole here! FYI , 50 years ago and Baby ##1 still didn't come for 3 days and she never has showed up on time for anything else. I feel like skin looks sickly sallow, my cheeks have lost their roundness, looking gaunt, my neck emerges from my sweats etc like a turtle out of its shell, as I lose weight my fat instead smooth is blobby, but feeling sorry for me this AM. NPO until procedure at 2:50 pm, would ask somebody to shoot me, put me out of this misery, but if they miss I'll have more pain and a gunshot wound to heal. All my friends are poor shots anyway, have had cataract surgery or their families took their guns away. Oh S*** I guess I'll exist another day😥😪✊

Anyway I would hope this is the on the money stoma dilatation, but losing hope and confidence. Is the next stage open surgery or am I going to do this every 2 weeks until the end of the year? Meanwhile my weight pummets, last N.P. appointment October 9th 295, my last verifiable weight check, only have done at doctors offices, never trusted home scales, was 278 and that was 4 days ago. Yesterday, as example, calories in 533, fluids maybe 60, and that's being charitable, squeaked through with 60 of protein. Last night , one of the things we like is sliced zucchini and potatoes sauted, weird but I picked up the dish when I married. into Late Lameted's family. Made small skillet along with leftover KFC chicken from one of food pantries. With all my moving expenses,no cash to speak of left, so resorted to there. Filed for Emergency Food Stamps last week, no help there yet. Said to myself, looks soft, tender and almost liquidy, let's measure out a 1/4cup and take our teeny toddler spoon. Bad bad Frustr8, 27 minutes in, a hour and a half , foamie, sllimey, urp and puke. And by the time it settled down, it was a sf popsicle and go NPO for the procedure today. Only blessing, if one can call it that? Precious Pouch is so anorexic/bulimic food doesn't stay down to develop an odor. As long as I take Carafate 6am-noon-6pm-midnight and Zofran 8am-4pm-10pm, I can minimize the puking but never a thing of the past. And I am down to either soy or pea protein vanilla protein shakes I got with coupons, muscle milk is starting to gag me, if I thin it down 1/2 strength and tell,myself It's Medicine I maybe can choke it down albeit slowly. And in an act of utter stupidity my Wal-Mart has decided to only carry Premier Protein in chocolate which I have been allergic to for 43 years and vanilla, which I have learned to loathe, Who Wants something thick, white and tasteless? Maybe I can go to Krogers, food stamps I NEEd you, after I moved I can't afford the installation fee of $85 to get rotten Spectrum or Century Link, think they might bill it? Not those illegitimate souls, they want to make a profit, Not be a public service. So Frustr8is limping on with her trusty Verizon on 4G but of course, without my service, no WiFi, so Ping Pong Ping! How much longer can I Exist like this? I would cry but being NPO, I'm close to dehydration! n

I think one of the rotten facts of weight loss life is as you lose weight you are melting hormones and other chemicals out in ketosis. And it is an evil surge. There was a more seasoned poster on Bariatric Pal when I joined, boy I liked what she said, probably phrased it better then. It's like PUBERTY, except you don't get zits all over It's like PREGNANCY except,you don't get a cute baby to cuddle It's like MENOPAUSE in that you swear it never will end And you surge back and forth between stages with little rhymn or reason. Some days you taste or sweat what smells like bug spray or worse. And you have gas passing, you're dizzy and always cold, and you swear nobody knows how much suffering in the whole process you have. But to use Fluffy Chix term, Swearsies, it will and does get better, and someday will be a memory that you will someday smile at. AND the vets have promised, and I'm going,to believe it cause They have BEEN THERE, they lived and by Gosh I'm going to also!

I would think it sounds like a world-wide bunch of complications, avoid the grief this might cause!

Hey you are still going to have a victory! Hospitals and Insurances, a "pox" on both of them. My local hospital has a bad habit, not submitting claims promptly, I had one bili come back on me, I could prove my insurance provider had pre-approved the procedure, they just didn't submit for 2 years. Luckily I had original paperwork, one of the few toms being Queen hoarder of the Western 🌎helped!
