As you probably know Kathy I had a bawl-fest a while back. What triggered it? A poster in her hospital's gown, mesh hat on her hair, ready to transport to OR, saucy left thumb extended in the air. And Tomkitten, nurses or anyone else considered my feeling enough to tAke one. I do have ones afterward, gown up over my face showing my surgical wounds, but how do you know it's really me? I could have bought them off another Baiatric website, I do hear tell there are others. So since I cried myself to the edge of dehyration THAT. DAY, I shall comemorate another future day. The day Dr Noria gets my Strictures fully dialated, my ulcers are in abayance and I finally can go onto a pureed/soft diet, Precious Pouch can grow up and become the adult Turkey Egg Roux en Y pouch Dr Needleman designed her to be. Sometimes I wish I could rip her from my abdomo- chest, spank her soundly and then replace her back in! I know I am smaller, the chairs I no longer get stuck in and need to be pulled free testify to that, and I am down 60+ pounds since the end of July. But having it spread over such a wide area makes it not as apparent to J9e or Jane Schmoe in the street. And I tell myself as I upchuck almost every evening " Its worth it! It's worth it!" and when all bets are in it will be!

December 26th is my Birthday, @Jean9, what a neat birthday 📦🎁 present for you and me by extension. we will both have something to celebrate that day! Happy SURGIBIRTHDAY to YOU in Advance!😝👍😜

So of us are and were a real caution, but we are are realigning, reorganizating into something the 🌏 has never seen before. And yes , stuffing the phone under my butt so no one would know it was Me, the resonates for me. Remember I flipped my gown up, wanted to see if they had drawn on me with Magic Markers, actually done surgery, or had anesthesia just put me to sleep for a good nap. Hardly slept at all for 48 hours being excited. about this monomentual REBIRTHDAY I was going to have! Another FYI, my youngest yeah the Tomkitten, had fallen down neighbor's unrailed stairway, had a suspected head injury, was in our local" band aid station" so named for generalized ineptitude. Why do we go there occasionally? it's easy to get to, close by. We'll surely even they know how to do Neuro checks? Kept trying to shine penlight in TK eyes to check pupils, he keeps shutting them. They tried everything short of prying his little eyelids open, mind you he was 2 months short of 3 years, finally gave up and sent him to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus , 48 miles away, let them play with him. Asked TK later, you see he may have only been 3 but easily as verbal as a 6 year old. Probably would have told them himself if they had only asked instead treating him like a particularly interesting piece of beef roast. "Mommy , when I closed my eyes, the headache , bright lights and pesky people went away, I could pretend I was at home with you, Daddy,and my toys. I love you Mommy". And 30-some years later he still is proud to tell me that!

Well you have me sitting there to keep you company. I had acute pancreatitis in May 2015, still idiopathic, love that word, medicalese for "Duh, WE don't have any idea what caused it either" and my gastro says there was minute changes in my pancreas , more likelihood of diabetes or worse setting in, so like a watched pressure cooker I'm watched to see if the gauge flies off! Don't Worry, that's like Don't look at the Elephant in the Room. 🐘there IT is Anyway!

Yeah you have a very valid point, a high % age of mine I would not have as friends, but family, you either want to hug them to death or pound them to a pulp. Not many middle ground in my two sides. I am just glad the cousins who told me to kill myself have now predeceased me, now I still have a batch that think I'm too fat and a bunch that think I'm ugly because I don't share their amount,of pigmentation. Not my fault I am fair, red-headed and can't tan, those are my Daddy's side, I take more after mama's except I look more and more like my paternal grandmother, just a different color palette. Oh que sera, sera!

What kind of powder was it so I can duck it? Nobody should have to be into nasty and vile if there is an alternative!😥😝

Bonebroths are nice but cook vegetables like onion, celery , carrots, even mushrooms until tender in them. Sure you will have to strain them all out, but they leave a nicer taste. Also do you have a fab taste like , taco , Thai etc? I took my beef one day, added a shake of acceptable teriyaki, yummy to me!

Anywhere from 118/58 at Bariatric surgeon to 140/90 while feuding with PCP, yeah I am labile but don't raise my hackles and things will be smooth. Have an appointment with Dr Karve, pronounced Kar-vay, in January, she's my cardiologist, uber smart, sure will address it with her if not sooner! Yes I sure don't want hypertension beating my 3 kidneys to death, rather fond of them all, my paltry claim to fame!

And after Thanksgivings , Canadian last month, US this month, comes Christmas,🎅🎁 Chanukah 🎍and New Years.🎉🎊🎋 Anybody starting to make those plans too?

Chattycat, I use Spring Valley Prenatal multivitamin/multimineral with folate, I bought a 100 count bottle at Wal-Mart. I think it cost less than $10. So far my levels are super cool. Also take Magnesium for leg cramping, liquid calcium citrate, Sublingual B12, Carafate, Wellbutrin(for mildish depression) and that's pretty much it!

I think we may still retain a GNC,some health food stores. But food wise, Wal-Mart, Krogers and 1 IGA. Drug Stores CVS, Rite-Aid and some local ones. . A few lap-bands, a very sleepers but I swear I am the only RYN. And if you saw how obese my county, Knox, is, and I mean adults clear down to small children , like 100 pound kindergarten and early elementary, 200 pound middle schoolers and it gets worse with age. If it didn't gross me only 💓ache I would build myself a pulpit and start preaching. There are some that make me look anorexic, not an easy thing!

Nearest is Mansfield, 23 miles north, a Sam's club. Otherwise Columbus , 48 miles SW, the state capital where I had my surgery 10 weeks ago tomorrow. Drat it all! For clean air, pretty scenery and a lower crime rate I limited myself a lot, a self-administered screwing perhaps.😧🍶🍝

Or fix something healthy everyone else can also eat. If all else fails , claim to be recovering from stomach issues, it's only a Gray lie after all!
