And although you might be getting pricey, there are plant based , like pea protein or I think I read of someone who got hers from eggs or egg derivative. My grandma Ada, Daddy's mama, and didn't Mama hated her, a lot whirring in the grave, I get more like her in attitude, different shade of skin, Grandma showed her Native Amrican/First Nation roots, I am fair, red-haired/ginger but we grow more alike as time goes on. Granma Ada's saying "The Good Lord never made an itch, He didn't make a Scratcher to Fit it! "which means if you look and search long enough there is ALWAYS an answer! -
Sounds as though it is working for you, wise dietician. reminded me on a "blue day" we each fight our own battles, blaze our own trails, each have sorrows but at the end we each achieve a victory our size , our shape and that everyone that tries ultimately becomes a Winner! Sometimes when I see others victories, I get envious, I get blinded to the fact that I too am a Winner in the Bariatric Wars even if I don't win this skirmish. I was built for endurance, not exploding in the sprints, So Chug Chug this 🚝this Choo Chop will make it to the Grand Station of Life Yet!

Pretty Sure you are Correct😛

Well , you know where I got mine from was CNN. a few years ago, a young girl in Iran who was not protesting, not rebelling, simply going from area of Tehran to another, maybe 20 years old, radical misogynists gunned her down for no worse sin than being out without male escort. At that time the CNN correspondent, perhaps Nic Robertson, said another beautiful young flower of Islam whose life was snuffed out. And this was long before your posts and mine ever crossed paths. Feel free to Remain the Flower of Southern Womanhood if You Like.

Ummyasmin you are supposed to be becoming a delicate Flower of Islam , not regain tree trunk size or be big as the Blarney Stone. Get off that slippery slope, you know where it's going to lead, it's still a good Saturday, get those snacks out in the dustbin where they truly belong!

Might be nothing more than extra stabilizing stitching there. If it was your stomach removing incision, it would be your deepest weakest point, they may have double stitched so you wouldn't herniate internallym If so , they usually pop free once you're healed enough. You're still less than 2 weeks out, give it say a month, oh keep an eye👀on it but 8 to 5, you'll be COOL.

Maybe your Bariatric Team and a Bariatric Dietician/Nutritionist can come up with some equivilencies for YOU. I'm sure in all of New Zealand there have been OTHER CASES like YOU! Stay Strong, Stay Resolute and an Answer Will Be Found! -
Even in the best intentioned and most desired surgeries there is a thread of OMG WTF did I just do to ME? Your body is starting it's healing but you're also suffering from a wounded spirit and your world🌏 has been rocked and is quaking on its foundations. THIS IS A SHOCK! Things do get better, says the woman with a 11 week stomal stricture, but TRULY THEY DO, reach out to your bariatric team, there are people there who can help. And come on here, we too had Gloomy Tuesdays, Why did I do This Wednesdays even F*** It Fridays, we've pulled up our bootstraps, gritted our teeth and made it through. Sometimes even bariatric consouling helps.

Frustr8 replied to Frustr8's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Question for wiser Heads? Why, this Far Out from My Surgery Am I waking up Each and Every Morning with Renewed Nausea? Feel like it's something more than being Foodless. At least at 72 and Widowed I am not Pregnant! Usually that is the 1st thing the outside world suggests. Does this mean my ulcers are worsening instead of healing? Wonder if I try drink8ng water, it's going to come right back,up? Too much time to think and too few answers.😪😭😥😧 -

Good Luck Big MikeLa50*** Probably looks right now like you're the farthest from surgery, but as you ready yourself for your SURGERY sometimes it seems so quick. Learn, exercise, prepare, get things in your life straightened out but most of all tell yourself what a good and great thing this will be. This is an ultimate gift to You!🎁 Forward to the Forefront in February 2019. -
