Frustr8 replied to Ylime's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Many of us have been there, being the Family,Garbage-Can sent me right into the surgical presence of Bradley J Needleman MD. I was always, good at eating the dishes too little to refrigerate. I cheated Rubbermaid and Tupperware's budgets single-handedly daily. And Thank God and surgery that those days are behind ME. -

I have had them for 30+ years, when I went to plead for an hysterectomy with Dr Prior, the non- Feng Shui dude, he refused to perform my spaying for that alone. Guess I will die with them! And giving birth is still more fun, you get a cuddly baby 👶out of the deal! -

But there are several studies showing optimal size to be 34-35 French. Less than that, could give you tighter control but also increased risk of complication or dehisance, and nobody desires that!

Anyone scheduled for December yet?
Frustr8 replied to kx2ax5's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Keep on walking, keep your fluids and permitted diet going, if you make it , Glory Glory, if not, you'll know you tried. Surely if you are close to that loss-- they will let you through. Very few knee- jerk types at that point.😛👍 -
Promise me that on Thanksgiving you will merely walk from now on. G4een Tealael, it is okay to keep him as a friend, but my feeling is: if he had been Mr Right instead Mr Pretty Nice to Know, the accident would have solidified the relationship, not come up," Wait a Minute" I have not given up on things, neither should YOU.

Thank you my dear, I feel in my arthritic old bones you will be a complete success!

I just heard about noom. com on DIY network tonight, has anyone tried them, as yet. They spoke about yo-yodieting and a few other terms near and dear to bariatric people. Is it motivation or what?

The smaller and less plump your liver is the quicker and easier, your surgery will be. The diets vary,in length from just the day before to 4+weeks, Most are 2 weeks, I did the entire month,of August, because I wanted. the "most bang for my,buck" and it worked, I lost 15 pounds my,liver was thin, normal in size, so my surgeon had no troubles doing my surgery even at 72 .Have you been checked for sleep apnea? Many, obese people have it and it is a qualifier also known as a co-morbitity for surgery., The fact you were a former athelete may make it easier to exercise post-surgery. But I think at 90% of people on here do well, as you can see from. my AGE you are too old, too heavy or any of the bad things the uncaring outside world calls us. You are. worthy of this chance, the fact you are on here shows you are willing to take this chance, and if you have the strength of spirit to see, this through,to the final goal, you can and should be a success And you have the, proper wh9 have done this already here to,mentor, you. Almost every small problem you could have, there is a veteran who has gone through it and can tell you,how to handle it. They have been a great source of wisdom to me as I had my own surgery in September. So any more questions, you have, we can answer.
