Getting nervous and starting to freak out
Frustr8 replied to Angel'sFaith's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Definately, it's normal to feel both ways at once. And I started thinking just the other day, am I going to starve? But my Doctor assures me I'm doing just fine, although my path is a little skewed compared with many of you, I also will make it THERE! -
@ patanna, we all are learners along this path to victory, we try until we find what works for each of us. A lot of trials, some errors, but we shall all make it through!

Rosacea is also called a Celtic curse, fair-skinned , Irish or Scots heritage, although I am not certain Scandinavians escaped it. And also remember the Vikings went a sailing a lot, if you go back far ENOUGH there are more than a few drops๐ฆin the Irish and Scots anyway. I do have a mildish case myself , and we all know how cute I am, well I am planning to be cute for my age pretty soon!๐๐๐

kat410, i suspect you and I will be travelling on the same bell curve, similar start and my surgeon and I suspect it will take me 18 instead of 12 months to make MY GOAL. If this is true I will be happy also. Hard-one victories often are the sweetest.๐๐๐ฆ๐

Hadn't thought of it, but wouldn't it be awful to be in a Government Witness Program and have something like this "out" you. They would know who you used to be.
-
But we love you anyway, mousecat88 and don't give up all hope, you could snap back yet!

OMG what a nasty thing to happen, is there anyone in the Delmarva area taking his patients?

And alas, the only way I will get skin removal is if they would accept pictures of breakdown, fungal infections. Are pictures going to help? -
Well Welcome Rene, I think you are one of the first, if not the absolute, February 2019 sleever. And it won't be long before others join you! May your future surgery help you towards a Healthier Life!๐

They should be tied to their chairs and forced to watch CHRISTMAS VACATION.Remember what happened to Clark Griswold? He was planning on a Money Bonus, he got a subscription to Fruit of the Month Club.

Strictures with Regurgitation?
Frustr8 replied to mousecat88's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Do you want my testimony? it doesn't feel like the ulcers, that's right. I try to eat in the approved manner, small spoonfuls of food, not an excessive amount. It feels like Precious rears up like an angry little fist, then I burp, hiccup/belch and then everything comes pouring back up, and often when you're sure there can't be anymore, she dry-heaves . foamy slimes and then afterwards it hurts for a while like someone punched you there hard as they could. And I swear it FEELS like she was placed on top of my diaphragm instead of in the abdomen. I sit there rubbing her through my skin or with my arms splinting her for protection. it's like she is a plastic bottle with a pinhole that slowly drains liquids out. But most purees and softs, she will not accept them. And I am worried she never will. My surgeon assures me once things settle down and stop being swollen I'll be okay. In the meantime keep on with vitamins, minerals and meds, and the TPN will keep me from malnorishment. I do keep trying to take soup, broth, protein shakes by mouth, but often I feel like I'm pounding my head against a brick wall. And I am trying to keep other fluids going in, can't tell if it's working because the fluid in my feeding keeps my urine flowing anyway. And I try to be bright and cheery on here, but it hurts when my surgery twins are so much farther than me and the "I Ate This "postings bring me to tears. And ๐ญ๐บI think you and I are keeping Carafate in business, just us 2. And I've lost count how many Zofran bottles I've emptied. -
How about calcium or magnesium levels?
-
Have you ever had rosacea or lupus? Those 2 things come to mind for me.
-
Well at least you're hanging out with Lawrence of Arabia. Worse things to dream, worse places to be. Your pouch will demand respect, Precious still keeps me pistol-whipped and she's now more than 3 months old, 3 months-15 days to be exact. Like Rumpole of the Bailey " she is who must be obeyed", and when all else fails its back to the one-ounce cups for me!

The patch is probably scopalamine, Good for nausea. May give you blurred vision, when you remove it , wear Gloves. Good stuff but an ornery dude.

Some of the borderline, if you can thin down or puree the snarf out of them, try gingerly, just a baby spoon and slowly. If you can get away with it, Bazinga! My program says it must be thin enough to go through a funnel. My dietician Roy( yeppers- I do have a Guy Dietician!) says If you have to chew--- its not Stage #2. But you would not want to be like your Auntie Frustr8, I swear I am the only person in the world๐ who has been on a liquids diet since I went on Liver Shrink August 1st, 20 lousee weeks. But thanks to my TPN I am getting better, once my ulcers heal better and the internal swelling goes down, I will make up for lost time. Regrets, no ma'm because of I had continued obese I could be dead, I have lost weight, down easily 50 pounds since surgery and the TPN is minor inconvenience compared with death. And I still can be hear enjoying everyone's successes.!๐๐๐๐

Is gastric bypass surgery reversible at all??
Frustr8 replied to iPixie's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
@ipixie I sure hope that this gets better. Get the Cushings under control, you can worry about bypass reversal at a much later date. Did you remember President John F Kennedy also had Cushing. Yep he did, pretty famous company to be traveling in. But I'm sure you just would rather not. -
So your "Ex" left to " Find Himself"? Does he really think he is worth the search? And he didn't feel lost until you committed to weight loss? What a 14 carat Bozo he turned out to be! What is the male equivalent of" Bye Felicia," maybe" Bye Feliciano?" Now he has shown his true colors and they look murky to me! Just Saying!
