Tension headache
Frustr8 replied to Lovingmyselfforever's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tylenol, now and forever more. Maybe Norco with its extra added ingredient, tramadol works for me but it doesn't for everybody. -
H***hath no fury like me when I am slightly inconvenienced and hungry!
-
Shouldn't but remember to take your machine with you , I left a piece of mine at home, the hospital didn't have a replacement part, I was 48 miles from home, nobody could bring it to me so I ended up having to wear oxygen the whole time I was there.

We are jalopies instead of a race car on the Bonneville Salt Flats. We go chugging along, have a temporary misfite, that's your stall, start up again, chug chug, and there we go again over and over until we reach our goal and the finish line. But our engine keeps on when the fancy car has burned itself out and have to be scrapped. So be a jalopy🚘cause it's a good thing to be!

Support and honesty needed
Frustr8 replied to ShrinkingTN- hopefully's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Try as you may, there are some people that don't understand. What you have to settle in your own mind is: Is it your fault really or merely a fault in them? -
Oh that is rough, when you have worked so hard, to make it there. I am so sorry.

How long dis it take to see your stomach go down
Frustr8 replied to shany1567's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Is everybody's tummies flattening out? I thought mine would just flatten down, and it is smaller, but it looks like a balloon someone let. the air out of, kind of stretched in places and blobby. Oh well I never expected to be a bikini model at my age anyway! -
How long until you feel like yourself again?
Frustr8 replied to b_co's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Every day, in every way, we can only get better, a journey of a thousand steps starts with just one. And you will love seeing the person you always felt you were start to emerge. And if you don't rule the world, you at least own your little corner of it! Congratulations on all of it! -
Looks like fats and oils of an average Smerican, one can only hope they are polyunsaturated, right?
-
And all you latest ones are within a week of each other, it will be interesting to follow along with all of you. May everything go smoothly for all of you!
-
And I would cry💦too, may this someday happen to ME!

Glad you finally got a satisfactory answer to this, -
Flatulence is very common, sometimes I feel like Toot Toot the little Tugboat, honking my Rump Horn!

Frustr8 replied to TXMom*3's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes we can and Will! 2919 is going to bring good things forward for us All. -
And the way things are turning out for me , I should keep a gastroenterologist stuffed in my back pocket at all times. I also had to undergo a sleep study which confirmed my Sleep Apnea, thought it would be positive, there is an heredity component, Daddy was diagnosed with it a couple years before his death. So Uncle Snuffly, my C-Pap machine and I started "Steady Dating"

When does protein and fluid get easier?
Frustr8 replied to Swanton_Bomb's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Never heard of them, so I guess I'll follow along. -
Wonderful--- now keep on with your losses! Let's see what 2019 brings for you! Guys, as a rule, lose quicker than we women do.

And I think female nurses would be better than Male doctors and nurses with hands the size of Ham Jocks. Ye-ouch Folks!

How did you learn about surgery
Frustr8 replied to mahelpme's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Positive family members or negative& you were determined to prove them wrong? -
And I think I shall purchase a scale in January, instead of it telling ME my mistakes maybe now it will compliment ME. Then I will be able to know whether I am stalling or not, I am apprehensive my TPN is Stalling me Out. 1430 calories a day scares me when I was much below that by mouth prior. An expert said I should continue to lose 1-3 pounds weekly, perhaps so but I am 73 with the Basal Metabolism of a Sick Sea Snail, that's why prior to surgery. even with exercise I wasn't losing. Ah, no crying in my milk, it's skim and full of water already, Just kick back mentally and say "Que Sera, Sera",

Good luck with the eggs, that's a victory I have yet to acheive.

Am I a 'recovered' morbidly obese person?
Frustr8 replied to TheRealMeIsHere!'s topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
I hope to look at Me as "Formerly Fat" and one Sleek Sensation. Even if it takes the rest of my life, and I hope it doesn't take THAT LONG, I hope to make my goal sooner. Big Mama will turn into Cute for My Age, was originally planning on Cute Chickie-Baby but realize now that might be beyond my grasp. I will rock every drop of weight loss with all I have and trust I shall end up where I should be! -
Aim yourself in Life a little more gently, you're not a pork Tenderloin that needs to be beaten and flattened out. Take good and kind care of yourself, you are only issued One Body & it is supposed to last you a Lifetime!

And if you have the sense God gave a Gopher, you Learn by pain not to do THAT again!🍶
