Never argue with someone who believes all their own lies. Smile sweetly and do what you have to do for YOU. -
Has anyone who lost or shaved off their hair, had it regrow a different texture or shade? Just something I thought of tonight.

And we seem to get more and more of generation seeking the surgeries they have denied themselves for years and years. It literally is our own time to sparkle and shine🌞🌈! -

I'm 60. Anyone else over 50 doing RNY?
Frustr8 replied to Pam Peltz's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
And you now officially had your " Come to Jesus" moment. I was told the same thing, worse when you consider I'm 73. But 4 months ago this Saturday I had my own Winter Wednesday and received an RnY , and my recovery has not been picture- perfect, but it is what it is and I'm still going to gain a total ✌ victory, no matter how long it takes.Don't know if my Weight Road will smooth out soon, but I also would never go back where I started. A wise thought to share: When life gives you a hundred reasons to break down and cry, show life you have a thousand reasons to smile and laugh. Remain strong! -

Congratulations to all of you, smooth post-surgeries are a wonderful thing, I do envy you guys the little or no complications. -
Do I dare congratulate the UK Wildcats on their bowl win, don't want to make any Bulldog fans peeved but it was one heck of a game. I'm a rare bird, I ❤bowl games, I ❤football most, B :-)ball is second, And mean sleeved machine, you live near a B-ball powerhouse or 2, don't you? Tomkitten groans but usually lets me have my Bowl Games, especially the New Years Day ones. We had roast chicken, stuffing , mashed taters and gravy, maybe I put him into a mellow stupor,

So @Mysterious Gal, your surgery was supposed to be 11/01/18. Did you have it on time or were there still things to postpone it? -

mousecat medical/dietary saga thread
Frustr8 replied to mousecat88's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Want a laugh at my PCP's expense? Told me to cut down my calories so I get out of stalling and start dropping more weight. I said Hey remember I can't cut calories, I am having it piped in through my PICC line. "Oops, wrong person, but that's what I usually tell people to do,isn't it?" And he looked a little ashamed, tried then to cover it up by, "as long as your cheeks are concave you are losing good enough now". Hnnnh? -
Pixie cut and hair loss - 5/6 months out
Frustr8 replied to AEdoesRnY's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My body is still large enough it makes me look like a Pearl- headed corsage pin. -
Well my TPN pharmacist and dietician both say I don't need to take pill vitamins since I have liquid ones instilled into my TPN but I still have been doing my prenatal and my Vitamins D and B12, so shoot me if I am wrong. Won't need a very good aim, I am still pretty wide!

Well off for my blood draw and then to PCP. After that, since I will be behind, I shall " run like 60" to try and catch up, draw money out of bank, pay 2 creditors, go to Wal-Mart, back to bank, cash a check, buy m,o. for landlord, wants either cash or no check, just a m.o. Maybe somebody burned him in past? Leave just enough in to cover any service charges, and then MAYBE I can return home?

And if you didn't cook like there was a hungry threshing crew walk ing in the front door off the porch, the insult levied by Daddy's family What -cha matter, you skimpin' or something?" boy the next time you KNEW to make enough and maybe a little extra. One aunt always set an extra place for Jesus, granted he never actually showed up but we was READY! How many times did I finish up the little bits left so I wouldn't have to refrigerate it. I'm just now getting rid of the leftovers on my body!
