    Pain in Diaphram

Maybe and the compression helped your body rid it without it gathering in a large ball under your diaphragm. Sounds kinda weird, but bottom line IT WORKED!

Oh THAT is just terrible, to work so doggone hard and then have them wuss out on You! Sometimes you just have to HATE insurance companies, their whole philosophy is Much Money In*****Little Money Out!

So Alexandro, what surgery did you choose? Just Wondering!
  6. And if we have even one or two drops of Irish blood, we have an inate fondness for that Soft Green Isle. And I'm Irish enough my sons names were Kevin and Bryan. Kevin I sang Kevin Barry to as a song I rocked him to, poor Bryan got The Rising of The Moon. If you are familiar with neither ask your Hubs, bet he might even sing them for you!

Dietician Stuff...help me not be a jerk...

And Kimmie K, would you believe it? Even with my TPN, where I am on a liquid IV diet, I have my own special dietician? Her name is Kelly, we talk at a minimum, once a week, and she is very very nice and a great resource person.
  8. Somebody asked how can I be cheerful. with ulcers and an stomal stricture? Well why not? I still believe this is a condition I will grow past, I am not a victim but a survivor through all of the twists and turns and maybe my📝 story will give others hope.😛🌈 for their own futures.

    Quotes & Inspiration

Wrong is wrong , even if everyone is doing it Right is right even if it's you standing alone.
  10. Sounds like for some reason your body isn't assimulating the protein right, wonder why? Maybe you're right, your body thought you were starving and went into its survival mode, it said " I Shall Protect HER No Matter What!" , a little screwy but at least in its way, It Loves You.

Two questions - 4days post op

But many people say that's just the nature of the sleeve, maybe it's so happy it wants to SING?

A very nice posting, isn't it?
  17. I'm afraid of bleaching my hair 1, Aunt tried it with my color scheme, she ended up with orange sherbet hair, never bleach if you're a redhead! 2. I probably would resemble a broken-down scrub brush, thick with, just a tuft,on top.

    What to expect??

Did you realize it says in the Bible husbands should make their wives morning coffee? Yep it does; HEBREWS

And never too late to be worthwhile, my song🎶 of life is different than many but it's pretty okay. I still can sing 🎤my melody at 73, it's pretty quiet if you're dead in a grave and I found out I don't want to be THERE yet. I woke up with arthritis. hurting but went and got my Carafate for ulcers, Ditropan for bladder spasms and Zofran to keep the nausea down, laid back down after a potty 🚽break, got 2 more hours until my TPN is done, I'll see if my leg pain gets better, if not, I'll pop a couple💊 Tylenol, save the Tramadol and Norco for something more serious. And start to sip my bottle🍶 of Propel, nobody mentioned I would be doing 2 oz☕ cups this far out, but it works out to 8oz per hour, and I'll make my 64 oz today, even if it is in small increments. Snowy snowy here, close to 5 inches, but I didn't plan on doing anything outside anyway. Weighed frolicking in the snow⛄ verses falling, breaking arms, legs, hips, better safe inside than sorrows in the ❄snowdrifts. My bones don't just bend and bruise, they go CRACK and then there is a long 😧healing ahead! No Thank You Very Much!
  20. You have to make your own kind of music and then sing your own song. But the melody is sweet for all that because it truly is YOURS.

    50 and Up Sleevers

Burping usually means you're swallowing air when you take your liquids and many people don't feel restriction until they get to more solid foods. You're still deep in the learning experience at a month. Its like you do have a tool that no one gives a perfect instruction booklet for.
  22. Oh Heavens yes, a lot of times the surgeon will put extra stabilizing stitching there, and and your swollen flesh will tug at it. I would worry more if you felt totally numb there.

Pickle juice 3 days post op?

Enjoy it darlin', your body may just be craving it. When I got home from delivering Baby#1 I sat down and ate an entire can of 🍍 pineapple in a single setting, it seemed to be what my body needed too.
