Hello all..I'm 6 months out today, and feeling good. Weight loss has slowed a bit but I blame it on my lack of exercise ..eating hasn't been too bad.
Starting weight 391
Today. 282
I want to lose another 40 or so pounds. I'm 6 foot 3..so don't wanna be puny lol..never thought I'd worry about getting too skinny..amazing tool we have been blessed with. Adding years to my life to be able to enjoy my kids for a long time.
Here's a pic before surgery and one a few days ago. Dont mind the hockey nut I took a pic with lol..couldn't resist not taking a pic with him.

Super excited, this is the last clearance I need. So I hope to have a surgery date by the end of the week, first of next week. Wish me luck everyone.

I’m actually having RNY in the 10th as well. Nice to have some surgery buddies! I’ve been on here for a while just reading posts, but thought it was finally time to join in the conversation. Nerves are setting in, but I’m glad I won’t be going through this alone. Hope we can stay in touch!

After months of hurdles and rescheduling I finally had my procedure on Tuesday. I was discharged from the hospital today. I am sore but excited for this journey... shout out to everyone else in this crazy process!
