Hang in there. In a week it’ll seem like a distant memory. You’ll love the decision. The first week or two stinkOn 09/15/2018 at 05:52, Mandy1013 said:
I was sleeved on 9/10/18. I also have buyers remorse. Have had it since 9/11/18. But I absolutely would change it if I could!! If this situation had an undo button, I would have been hitting that thing with every ounce of energy I barely have. I have been miserable since surgery. I’m mad at myself for doing this to myself. I’m tired of the smells of ANYTHING making me nauseous. I’m mad that I’m going to have to miss 2 weeks of work for this mess, when I would much rather be out every day getting paid. I’m just so completely miserable and mad at myself and I don’t feel any better today than I did on Monday evening. -
Amazing for you- congrats!!

I’m about 9 months post and eat around a cup.... or 4 oz . My nut says around 3/4 to 1 cup so maybe that’s fine?!?!
I’m def full after — do wonder if it’s over doing it but it hasn’t hurt my weight losss so all good I guess??Frustr8 and FluffyChix reacted to this -

Maybe they will create a mini vet forum hahaOn 08/21/2018 at 13:35, Orchids&Dragons said:
But isn't that what the veterans' forum is for? Focusing on things other than the immediate effects of surgery? I imagine vets still have plenty of challenges and wisdom to share with each other. Our "old life" will always be issuing its siren song, trying to drag us back . . .
I can't wait to transition to the vet forum!
p.s. I've stepped back from most of the basic question threads. I let newer people answer them. (Unless it looks like they're not going to get a response. Then I can't help myself.) I try to make sure no-one feels ignored.
I too now skim . I’m only about 8 1/2 months out so we technically don’t qualify as vets but I feel like I’m getting bored with the typical threads and on here less. I’d love it if there was a different level
Perhaps we can suggest it?
I see that some have left since “our surgery timeline”GreenTealael reacted to this -

Totally see it!! Your neck / face definitely and the chest area! Nice job!On 09/07/2018 at 10:44, J San said:
I don't see the difference but the scale says it coming off somewhere. Not pre-op but closest I have. 7/22 10 days after surgery and last night 9/6. 342lbs on day of surgery, 345lbs in 1st pic, 299lbs in 2nd pic. 46lbs lost and counting but where? Only thing I've noticed is feet and hands, lol.

Share the recipe? Sounds amazing !On 09/04/2018 at 23:13, photogirl70 said:
Pan seared shrimp has been a quick easy lunch. I usually have little spinach bake with it. I made this awesome greek turkey burger. We've had salmon a few times and ground chicken sausage cooked with cabbage and onion.

Curious why you think you’d be denied? My experience was pretty uneventful and “ easy”... 6 months from referral to surgery
