Thank you all for responding! I don’t throw up every meal seems to be more at dinner time and i think they maybe when I’m the hungriest. But i notice the burping or gargling. I never thought that was a sign but now I will be more mindful.
Sounds like you could be eating too fast! You mention you’re really hungry and it’s happening only at dinner— maybe that’s it? Eating fast prevents me from knowing I’m full until it’s too late and I feel bleh

  2. I was up and back to normal in about 3 days... just didn’t lift anything over 10 lbs .
Holidays will be fine... you won’t be hungry but I’d think you’ll be ok for everything else.

My pre op was only a few days - liquids for 2 days prior. I didn’t have to do a big diet before - I just couldn’t gain.

You’ll be ok- has was a beast but the incisions felt ok after maybe a week. sleeping (side sleeping pills on stomach$ and getting up were tough for a bit.

I hope you get a date soon :)

  3. Hi all
Have the flu (ugh)... and so sick to my stomach. Had husband go buy some bread or crackers to settle my stomach.

Had bypass 9 1/2 months ago and have been pretty good with foods etc. I’m beyond my goals and honestly need to stop losing weight.

All that said.... in the past two days I’ve eaten a TON of oyster crackers (whole box) and about 5 pieces of bread . I hadn’t had any bread type items in over 9 months so I feel like I’m failing.... even though it was just to settle stomach. I easily ate the bread and crackers with no restriction etc as far as I could tell but maybe ate too fast anyhow.

Ugh. Am I on proverbial slippery slope ?!
Kinda freaking out after the fact
