Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability

I'm going through a very unmotivated phase right now. I just want to eat food I want and not lean proteins and leafy greens. And I'm paying for it, ugh. I'm up over 4 lbs from my low I'm hoping some of that is from alcohol. I had quite a few beers the other night, that was followed by a late night fast food run. (I was with colleagues, not my idea, but I participated ). I don't know right now, I really don't feel like getting back on the chicken breast train. Doing at least moderate IF is usually pretty easy. I'm rarely hungry before noon. But the whole good choice thing, meh ... So I'm thinking of doing a little experiment. What if I eat what I want for the most part. But I have no alcohol, and make sure I get in my fluids. What will happen to my weight? My cals should still be well under 1000. I'd like to know where I can find that line between losing, maintaining and gaining. I'm not sure why I am suddenly so unmotivated. Is it just "diet" fatigue? Is it typical as people get near goal? Is it because of all the positive feedback I've gotten recently on how I look? Is it because my plastics I had wanted this fall is now postponed until who knows when because of my work schedule? -

Yes! There are definitely plenty of good choice that can be made at airports. The whole keto trend is good for us bariatric folks, with cheese, jerky, nuts being readily available. But as we know, having good choice available doesn't always lead us to make those good choices -

So yesterday was not good for eating well, or IF. In a stall, not sure if the poor eating is to blame, or just the timing. Traveling today. Managed to avoid the surprisingly delicious breakfast sandwich on the plane by sleeping through the meal service, lol. So that is one way to do IF. I realize I have some traveling food triggers. For instance if I'm flying out of a certain terminal that has Shake Shack, then I am hungry, where I may not have been hungry otherwise. Another airport, I always have PF Changs, so knowing I'm going to be in that airport makes me hungry. (And I'm usually all about local authentic ethnic restaurants!). I'm not sure what I can do about it, other than white knuckle it, or make good choices, neither are really my strong points. So today will probably be an IF day, assuming my dinner plans aren't too late. Now IF + good choices, ugh, that's tougher! -

I kinda hate you! Congrats on the new car. I'm a little sad for you about the Dart too though I actually went car shopping last week, but there were no more of the car I want with the options I want left within 100 miles of me, at least. So I'll be waiting and watching for when the new model year starts arriving, and they start discounting them. -

Oh man ... my dates are now so dull in comparison! Beautiful quilts! Quilt shows seem so midwesternly wholesome. Like it should be paired with casseroles, not ropes! -
Im exhausted 11 days post-op need advice

I had issues with exhaustion, shaky-ness and feeling like I was going to pass out. I received a B-12 shot from my surgeon's office, and that seemed to solve the issue. I now take B12 sublingual. -
Afraid that I'm going to let fear of pain prevent me from going through with surgery
sillykitty replied to Oct517's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
What you're describing would be an exceptional case, from my experience, and from everything I have read on here. I only had true pain right upon waking from surgery. It was pretty damn painful, I assume it was the gas pain. I'm not sure how long it lasted, but in my memory it doesn't seem like long, I was obviously petty groggy. Once in my room I received Dilauded via IV, and then took away any pain an made me sleepy. From that point onward I never felt any pain, just uncomfortableness and soeness. Nothing sharp whatsoever. I never threw up and only felt nausea when they pushed the pain meds (this might be a me thing, I'm not sure if it's common). I was up and walking in a few hours, reading on my phone, texting, etc. The next day I was just ready to get home, and I was fine without any help (I live alone), and on the car ride home. At the hospital the day of surgery, I was able to sleep, if they did come in, I was groggy enough to go right back to sleep. At night I was left undistrurbed unless I called or the IV alarm went off. -

Yeah, new grocery chains have a hard time in CA. I think because there are already so many more choices than the rest of the country, people are less inclined to try out some place new. Aldi is also challenging for people because it is almost all private label. So that is off putting if someone wants Wheat Thins, and isn't willing to try Wheat-y Thins . And because there is so much competition in CA, our grocery prices are on average very low, so again, less reason for people to try out Aldi. Yeah, I love Wegmans as well ... I was surprised and nice they were and how low the prices were. Not a normal combo! They are expanding ... so maybe they'll make it to you!?! -

Not sure how today will go as far as IF. Will be having a late brunch, so that will give me a decent fast. Then my evening plans are up in the air. We'll see, I guess. Starting this week, I have tons of travel on my calendar. Sometimes I can do IF, sometimes I can't. But it always makes it hard to eat clean and make good choices. And I'm terrible at hydration, protein goals, and taking all my supplements on the road. -

Aldi's are new to CA. I've loved them from afar forever, so excited when they arrived. But they are few and far between, none very convenient to me. And so so empty, it'll be interesting to see if they last. But I love them, their prices, and all their interesting items. Shopping at my regular stores like TJ's etc., are fine for me, I just go for what I want and generally don't get too distracted. But I was very distracted by Aldi's various versions of frozen spaetzel Oh, and on the topic of regional grocery stores. I love HEB, and wish they would come to CA. But they won't, ever -

I know Even with my tiny tummy, I counted 1600 cals yesterday. And almost all food. The only good decision I made yesterday was to have a light beer, and only one Exact same here. Saw my surgeon last month, and he said I looked great and questioned why I wanted to lose more weight. I told him the same, he wouldn't be saying that if he saw me naked. I also wonder if I hadn't gotten the praise I got at the party, with multiple people telling me they can't see why I'd lose more, would I have eaten those red vines? I'm a very stubborn and determined person, so long term those comments won't stop me. But did they for one night? -
Oh, and you can also see in this pic I need a link taken out of my watch, lol!

I'm packing for a trip next week to the rain soaked Mid Atlantic. Boots needed, right? Uh ... I guess not for this trip! I expected them to be a little big, but not unwearable!

@AshAsh1 recently said in another thread that she is finding her true fashin style. I realized that I am doing the same. I wore this outfit to a party tonight. I never before would have worn either white pants nor a yellow top. And I felt fantastic in it!

More beautiful meals ..... -
I have healthy snacks if I'm hungry. But I don't have any planned snacks, like some plans have (i.e. 3 meals + 2 snacks). Oh, and my restriction keeps me from gorging. But hunger can sometimes make me make unwise choices.
