good for you and Happy Valentines Day! I had about 3-4 bites of my boyfriends pasta (Im such a cheap date now!) I am only 3 weeks out so it was my first pasta. Went well but very filling. He knew not to get me candy, thank God! :-)

i have been having excruciating bouts of gout since being sleeved on jan 26 2018. i take 20mg prednisone. I am curious about what dosage you are on?

I was supposed to have vgs surgery 1/24, but i was dehydrated and the surgery instead took place 1/26. I received fluids in the hospital and was appalled to learn,when I got back home, that I had gained FOURTEEN pounds in the hospital. I am so discouraged. I am very sore, the tylenol with codeine is not halping and I am gettting depressed that i havent had solid food for 10 days and wont for another 19 days. Has anyone else gained 14 pounds in the hospital? I was on a liquid diet! I want to quit but im afraid of ripping open this stupid sleeve.

I am on full liquid diet day 4 post op and am allowed enlighten bars...the peanut butter is amazing. maybe it will help your craving.

So glad to hear, Im not going to try until at least 6 month, probably a year, but I do enjoy the occasional frozen margarita.

i am happy that i found this board and appreciate the kind words and support i have received. i detest the judmental posts. we are all human here, no one is perfect. i am the 2 day cheeseburger poster...NO i did not eat it and was not SERIOUSLY considering it as posted above, but I was frustrated and asking if anyone else had experienced a LARGE surgery weight gain. Instead of reaching for a burger, I turned to this board for support. I dont think sharing our frustrations, temptations and slip ups are grounds for judgement. just my 2 cents worth but im braced to be judged for it.
