I told everyone right the start, screw it they don’t understand or if they pick on me or whatever, this is for me aNd it doesn’t matter what they think, my time and my journey, almost everyone had someone they knew who did it or had a story and most were either cool with it or interested themselves, share it, what harm is there?

I’m 6’1” and was 410 lbs and am now 270
2 years out and I am sure if I worked more on it I could be in the lower 200s easily, it’s all what you put into it, what you want you can Achieve by just applying and never say never!! You got thisLanie992 reacted to this -
Definitely a stressful time, all the build up to it and waiting is exhausting

I come right out and tell everyone I did it, other ppl judge no matter what, I couldn’t care less what they think, I did this for me, and I never regret or look back, hopefully I inspire, which I have had many ask questions

I threw up about 2 months out, first time trying fish after the surgery, i felt way better after I did, it wasn’t hard at all and I didn’t have pain after. I knew it took me almost 9 months before I could burp properly though.

I’m feeling the same, I’m a year and a month out and lost 140 pounds but it has stalled, I’m feeling a little lack of energy, a little more hungry, and am making poor choices of food. Here to talk if needed.

It will pass, then when you eat it will only take a couple bites to feel full, you will soon realize the only thing that you will regret about this entire journey is that you didn’t do it sooner, good luck, hang in there

This is a little embarrassing, but as I have lost weight, without the extra pudge I’ve noticed that my ol boy is bigger, at least less is hiding and seems it, lol, but I have a new problem, now that the fat has come down and my skin is stretched more when I get erect I notice when I have sex I tear a lil sometimes because it seems like my penis is bigger and the skin has nowhere to come from now, I’m running out of skin, lol
Are there any other men dealing with this same problem?GreenTealael reacted to this -
Lol thanks everyone, I’ll do my best to be better

I’m 7 months out and 120 pounds down, I have been sitting at this weight , up and down a few pounds, for roughly 2 weeks now, the thing is I really don’t eat much but now that I can it’s hard to put things down when I start to get full, until it’s too late and I feel like crap, has anyone gotten to this point?

I’m 43, male, rny in Jan this year and I have lost 120 pounds so far, this has been the best thing I have ever done for myself, wish I did it sooner. I feel the same as thatgirl2121, I feel my youth was wasted and I can only imagine what my life would have been like if I did it sooner, many missed things Because of my weight. And the benefits of the surgery?! Let me tell you something men, if there is any reason to get it done it’s the improvements in men’s health!! Lol
