  1. I'm actually seriously considering doing a couple of test runs with the liquid diet to see what works and what doesn't. That way I can face it head-on and not get so anxious before August. Maybe start with three days and then take a break, then maybe add another day each time I attempt to do it. Not sure if this will work.... but it's worth a try!
  2. Thanks for the resources! I'll check into the clear protein. Would bone broth be considered a clear liquid?
  3. Holy WOW! That must have been excruciating for you! Thank heavens you finally got the reschedule. Seriously... WOW!!!
  4. That is super helpful and definitely sounds like a challenge. I believe I'm going to give it a try and start out for two days and then progress until I KNOW I can do it! Thanks for the inspiration!
  5. Very cool and we're almost exact height and weight too! Happy to share my journey and meet you
  6. I finally got my date! August 18th! It took three months to jump through all the hoops, but finally I got the call with the date I changed from the sleeve to the bypass due to a few minor complications with acid. I feel strong about my decision and I'm super excited to move forward.
  7. I'm two months out from surgery and I was thinking about doing some test trials with the liquid pre-op diet to see what works and what doesn't. Has anyone tried to do this and what were your results? Did it make it easier when it came time to do it for reals?
  8. Yes! FInally got my date for my surgery! August 18th Hoping to find a surgery buddy to connect with
  9. This is one thing I'm not looking forward to as I experienced it with my C-section. I do remember that massage and heating pads help as well. The pain can be insufferable, but fortunately, it is only temporary! Here's to your successful surgery and recovery!
  10. I had a lot of success with Keto Chow and I'm looking forward to utilizing it again. Tons of flavors and recipes. I think I'll need to modify the base recipe at first, but you never get bored with Keto Chow. ?
  11. What a fantastic idea! I hope to do something similar when I get my date! Love this
