Well well well it's been a crazy long time since I've been on here think the last time I posted was wen I was preg now my daughter is 2 lol I wanted to do a catch up and ask some questions .. I've been having some issues and my dr believes I have IBS so he's Asked me to change my diet to IBS / lapband safe diet .. I'd like to know where I could get this info And or if anyone has the same .

wow in 10 months u lost so much congrats on doing that. I also have the big fear of weight gain during pregnancy but in know that i have not been as strict as i should and have been using pregnancy as an excuse and im accually fitting quite a bit of food in. My first few weeks of pregnancy i accually lost like 8 kgs which i was so happy about because i wasnt budging on my weight for so long. But i lost due to having so much morning/ all day sickness.. now that i have passed that ive been eating n eating and have put almost all that 8kgs back on. I was very upset as i know it cant be all baby. People are telling me to stop being so effected by my weight while im pregnant, but i know i could do better.

hey im also 20 weeks, congrats on your pregnancy.. i dnt feel a lump in my throat but i am eating like a horse and guessing that i have stretched my band. i have 5 mls in my band and i didnt want to unfill it because i was scared of weight gain. At the beginning of preg i weighed in at 101kgs but went down to 93kgs in first trimester frm being so sick.. now im 98kgs and its abit disheartning.

yay i finally found the preggy section. Im currently around 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd girl. 1st pregnancy with the Lap band. I am wondering how things are going to go when the baby gets bigger, im having a real fear that my ports going tro be ripped out by the baby or something.??? Since being preg i havnt seen my band dr at all... tut tut because i really did not want him taking all my fills out. i have 5 mls in there atm and i feel i am eating like a horse atm maybe ive stretched it :S... im watching the numbers on the scale go up and even tho i know im preg it still dissapoints me. I just weighjed myself this morning and im 98kgs im like omg its heading towards 100. with my 1st pregnancy i put on wayyyy to much weight and im just so scared of doing that again.

when i was pregnant with my daughter i started out weighing 85kgs and then went up to 115kgs at full term, if my band was completely unfill id be scared to have such a huge weight gain again. I was so sick 24/7 for the 1st 3 months of my pregnancy and hardly gained any weight but once i felt better and able to eat its like my body stored all this fat after not eating really anything for so long. im just scared of undoing all this work

hello all again.... hmm now lets see what has been going on.. im now down to 100kgs from 128kgs but ive been stuck on 100kgs for a while now and it dosnt want to budge so it is a little frustrating. I have 5 1/2 mils now in my 10 ml band. A friend of mine had lost 60kgs in 1 yr with the band and i feel like im failing because it dosnt look like i will be losing that amount.. anyway IM ENGAGED! yay my darling bf proposed to me on the 5th of Jan .. such a gorgeouse ring ahh!... but its in at the moment getting resized so wont get it back for a week :sifone: i have a question about being pregnant with the band.. so u have to get the band unfilled ? for the record no im not pregnant.. as far as i know

wow its been a long time since i been in here OOPS! scales say the weight is coming off, but i so cant see it which is frustrating.. Dr put 4mls in on my first fill and on the 11th i will be getting another fill. Not much has happend as in life.. besides me randomly chopping all my hair off and getting a lip piercing lol.. my mother thinks im living my teenage yrs now lol.. anyway ill scoot around and see what everyones up to.

mmm my mouth is watering, the dietition only gave my a couple of things to start with like soft boiled eggs. nice to know that i do have a few more options

mm i cant wait till i can get something in my mouth lol. Is it basically anything i can blend up i can eat?

i am not far off heading for my 3 week post of stage, very very over this liquid stage and very ready for the mushy stage. Would like to know what foods everyone was eating at this point, im ready to go food shopping! lol

yay..!! 1 week down 4kgs down..!! but to tell the truth even tho im not really hungry i am quick sick and tired of this liquid diet im sposed to be having 1/2 cup x 6 of sustagen and i have 2 if im lucky, i have to force myself to drink it. Ive been going round sticking my face ito all sorts of food just to get the smell, sounds abit crazy! Cant wait for the next week to be up so i can go onto mushy food cause i guess u can basically stick anything into a blender.
