  2. And, if no one else mentions it, as your fat starts to leave all the hormones etc that were fat-soluble and were stored there are going to be released out into your system. Kind of going through puberty, pregnancy and menopause all at the same time. Only thing one lady said was in its benefit was you got a better figure and didn't have a crying baby to contend with. You may be a Stormin' Norman for a while, but as the Good Book says, not sure if it's all the Bible some might be also from the Old Wives Handbook- This too shall Pass and Joy Cometh in the Morning! Hugs and Sympathy from Ohio[emoji197] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Coffee and alcohol , well duh on those 2 but my other without fail, coconut oil. I usually can tell if it is in something even if it's not prominently labeled. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. You could from now on- "responding to post in_____forum". That way we don't trample any toes, otherwise we have no way of knowing ---especially if we aren't picking it up from the designated forum. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. And lol not for quite a while thereafter. You will have stages to go through and food will never be your "cuddle bunny" anymore. You will have a grown-up relationship, eating only for sustenance not for emotional support. Different but it will become your new way of life. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Praying your medical issues can be used for co morbidities. What do you have? Maybe there is still a way to work your way through the Insurance Jungle. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I'm looking forward to a Jr Arby, ditch the bun. Chew real good, put the rest of the meat in a zip lock bag, and several portions there. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. I think I mentioned being a STNA before, well my last job was at Wally World. PCP wanted to put me on Lasix, told me to take it at 9:30-10 am, I said that won't work, I either was cutting fabric or on a register, neither one could I excuse myself from and WW doesn't encourage yellow rivers on their floor. Although I could keep a water bottle under my cutting table area it was rough to get coverage for a potty break. If I got there, it seemed like I got immediately paged back, they never seemed to remember how valuable I was at pay raise time. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Somewhere between basset hound and Newfoundland. Woof woof, slobber slobber. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. And well you should be, I'm sure we will all be praying for you on that day. Hey I just started a March Success stories thread this AM, hopefully my surgical act will get together and I can be one of you guys. At any rate congratulations again on your date. 16. Have you checked Planned Parenthood, your county health department or a clinic at a land-grant university? My closest one here in Ohio is Ohio Stste, sometimes their federal subsidies help defray costs. And sometimes the drug company can help, I remember one commercial for something else keeps saying Astra Zenika may be able to help. Also Wal Mart, Target and Giant Eagle drug prices are cheaper, at least in my area. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. And in the same vein, clogging or square dancing. My aunt and uncle were in a square dance club, my cousins tagged along as did I often. We saw our relatives doing it, we organized, our own junior division, a bunch of pre-teens and teenagers and we go pretty dog-gone good at it. I know the best cloggers are from the Carolinas and Georgia, one of the square dancers was from the upstate NC mountain area so we kids learned to do it too. Betcha if you ever came to Ohio I could drag my arthritic old self up and show you how it's done! It's fun and it do burn up them calories! PS ---Late hubby and I seldom danced together, why? Danged fool, was a slow dancer, I did the more athletic ones, besides I tended to lead, well when I practiced with my girl friends I was always taller and learned to lead then. So we wrestled to a standstill in the middle of a dance floor, suspect he didn't enjoy it, knew I didn't. I enjoy dancing by myself instead of pairing off And he refused to square dance. Ah well, his loss! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. We'll all pray that it is just a small cyst, an anomaly you were born with or something like a "floor burn" from your stomach and esophagus sliding up and down and kinda rubbing your diaphragm in transit. Like the song Every little thing gonna be All right. Love and hugs[emoji197] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. And those Sosewsue61 are the classic flu symptoms, nausea and vomiting really aren't, they are more due to the GI renovations, now that tends to be the weakest link portion of your body. If necessary go,back,to your sugar free popsicles, you might be able to handle them better at this point. Remember the trick from when you had kids or were a kid yourself? Now this is mommy wisdom. Take a a paper cup, Styrofoam might work but I always used a paper Dixie cup. Stick the stick down through so you have a receptacle if it starts melting. I usually would put the whole affair in a Cereal bowl if they were slow eaters but then I hated sticky drips on the floor. The bowl isn't mandatory. And I always went for the light shades as opposed to grape or cherry. And a cool washcloth compress, helps with headaches, sore eyes, and worse case scenario you've got it ready to wipe off if you erp up. Love, prayers and feel better soon! 20. As we March forward toward weight loss and better health, lets's share all our joys and trials. We know we've made a commitment to the future and the best choice in our lives. No March winds blowing -Just smooth sailing ahead! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. I know only from reading on here, no personal knowledge yet. Most responder say liquids are easy, slip, right on through but when you get to purees and softs you'll truly feel the restriction and tightness of your newly redesigned innards. Keep on slow and steady with the liquids and the pureed etc will come. When that happens, let us know how you're getting along. You'll be a veteran to all the newbies and pre surgs. Cool --isn't it? 22. Because you are young-- that's probably why the recommendation of the sleeve. If it doesn't do good there may be still a regular bypass or SIPS in your future --but on the other hand --the sleeve may be Just perfect. Its really up to you and your surgeon to decide. Listen to advice from him, he knows your individual case better than any of us could. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  24. I also have GERD, after my EGD we found out I have gastritis and a smallish ulcer (too many NSAIDs) what IBS I have is pretty mild, gastroenterologist said he saw no reason I couldn't go forward with RnY, said it might even help the 1st 2 conditions. 25. I am owned by 2 lovely cat ladies, Squeaky who must be a distant cousin of Mr Freddy as they are marked much the same with the lovely white paws and her sister( well probably half-sister because they may not be offspring of the same tomcat) Cassie is a dark mackerel tabby but the fur on her sides instead of being stripe bars are perfectly swirled like paisley cloth. She is equally as pretty as her sister but Miss Squeaky has a very out-going personality and I think Cassie has played second-fiddle their entire life. Cassie is very sweet tempered and one on one just as loving if not more so than her sister. Squeaky does not, like storms, our code name is Thunder Monster, while she hides Cassie will crawl on my,lap, lay down and purr. Can you tell I'm pussycat-whipped? Ah but the girls brighten Tomkitten(my human son) and my life. I'll have to enter their pictures one of these days. They were shelter cats first, we call it the"***** pound" and were about 1 year old when adopted, we do still argue who adopted who---They act like they chose us!
