I haven’t really had a backslide. I just still don’t really really like doing anything. My surgery was on 12/26 and today I’ve had 4 oz of yogurt, 4 oz of Protein Shake, 32 oz of Water, and 1 sugar free popsicle. I’m following the menu my nutritionist gave me pretty much. I still need to drink more water, eat dinner, and have one more snack.

I’m with you friend. I had my surgery on 12/26. Can’t eat hardly anything and then nausea is insane. I’m praying it’ll get better. I’ll pray for you too.

Probably up from the wine, but man I bet you had a good buzz!! Lol. I’m too scared to drink right now lol. Don’t worry it’ll probably be gone tomorrow.

9 days post op and I’m down 14.6lbs I’m starting my weight loss from surgery day bc I didn’t have to do a pre op diet and I kind of went crazy lol. So I was supposed to go back to work yesterday, but I felt like I pulled something Tuesday. I was so scared it was something to do with my surgery, and my surgeon is out of town, so I went to my primary care dr yesterday. He took x rays which I haven’t heard back about yet, but he seems to think I fractured my rib coughing, not anything surgery related. So I’m headed back to work today armed with my pain pills from surgery and a lot of prayers. I’m glad we have this group, because I don’t like to share my weight loss victories with my family. It’s like that’s the only time they are proud of me when I’m losing weight and idk kind of makes me feel bad. If that makes any sense. Anyways sorry this was so wordy, but hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Well I’m a teacher so standing up will definitely not be a problem lol. I have my nausea meds, I’m just worried about them making me tired and yes I plan to have all my meals ready to go, so I don’t mess anything up.

I am one week post-op today! Yay, I made an entire week!! Anyways I haven’t been driving, but today I drove about 10 minutes away from home and got nauseous. I was wondering if anybody else feels this way when they drive? I go back to work tomorrow and I have about a 45 minute commute each way and I’m worried about getting sick 😩. Congrats to any other 12/26 sleevers!! We made an entire week!! I’ll admit at times I didn’t think I would, but we did!!

Hi, i had mine on 12/26. It’s been pretty rough. I didn’t realize how much I was going to miss food.

Yes! It’s so funny, because all I want to do is sleep, but today I couldn’t sleep at all. It’s crazy. I go back to work Wednesday, so I guess I better enjoy being at home while I can.

Surgery 26th. I was an overeater, and this morning I had two bites of yogurt and felt full, I thought it tasted so good, I'll have another bite. Big mistake, nausea ensued, and I have learned I have to put my food away when I am through. I realized when they talk about head hunger, and old habits, it's going to be hard, but I haven't come this far to screw it up. So, this might sound strange, but my head and I are going to have conversations all the time, and hopefully, my old thoughts will change to this new way. It's a battle, I used food since I was little to comfort me, but I know I can do it with the support of all of you. Just sore today, glad we are all in this together.
