My doctor prescribed me a pill to prevent ulcers but it’s so hard to take because I have to break up the pills myself so annoying

??? I love a lot of policy’s trump promotes however the man has to just watch his mouth sometimes.... how do ulcers form ?

Just to update everyone. I called my surgeons office and they changed my nausea medicine and I’m doing much better I am now able to tolerate water and broth at least I even ate a couple bites of protein yogurt today so I feel successful.

Thank you ladies I will try ice just so scared to be reemited to the hospital, I tried a sip of protein and immediately threw up only thing I’ve been able to tolerate is chicken noodle soup broth.

I had surgery 11/21 and was only supposed to stay one night however it hurts so bad to eat or drink that they kept me another night. I am in extreme pain and everything makes me nauseous I have been prescribed tremidol and promenthazine but every time I even try and take the medicine I vomit. I’m struggling so hard with water. I’m literally in tears everytime I throw up and beating myself up for even getting surgery

Just to update everyone I had surgery today 11/21/18 and my doctor said everything went well however I am struggling to recover and get back to normal I was in extreme pain when I woke up and I feel like if I didn’t cheat those 2 times on my pre op diet I wouldn’t be in so much pain. Also drink as much water as you can that is something I failed at and I’m paying for it now

I am 5 days in and I am extremely irritable. My surgery is November 21. My doctor never mentioned to me whether I had a fatty liver or not but everyone is required to do pre op diet in his practice reguardless if you are 200 lbs or 400 lbs

Thank you everyone for your guidance. I called the hospital on Wednesday to find out what I would owe and some one told me I would owe the deductible from my first insurance and they wouldn’t even touch my second insurance which sounded fishy to me because both insurances cover Bariatric surgery because I had to do the pre surgery program required by both insurances hence why it took me a whole year to get approved. so I went to the hospital which is 2 hours away I just couldn’t sleep at night not being truly prepared. The surgery registration said exactly what bluecrush said in the previous comment and that they can’t collect an accurate payment because of the two insurances so I don’t pay anything until after. The registration lady in person said The woman on the phone never pulled my account up she just told me that because people that don’t have 2 insurances have to make up deductible.

I wish you the best of luck. I just took on a new management position and I barley sit down let alone have 32 oz of water. My surgery is a week away and I caved and had oatmeal.

I’m struggling so bad with my liquid diet I think my problem is I’m not drinking enough water and waiting so long to have my shakes to the point where my head hurts so bad. Any tips?

Update. I called billing and she said until I have the procedure they wouldn’t know anything ?

Went for pre surgery testing on November 6th and surgery is scheduled for November 21st and no one from hospital has yet to reach out to me to say what I will need to pay before surgery. I have 2 different insurances one deductible is 2,900 and one is $750. At the pre surgery testing they did have me sit down with registeration but she just verified my insurance and employment. I am just about a week out and nervous about a surprise from the hospital after reading other people’s post. Should I reach out to the hospital? I wouldn’t even know where to start. Anyone like to share their experiences

How did you guys know that you had an uti? When I went for presurgry testing they only pulled my blood.
