    Any locals?

Hey Guys, Just wanted to send a quick hello and see how everyone is doing? I have been so busy now that I am finally feeling a little better that I have been doing alot of stuff around the house and working out kind of on my own. I got a Wii the last week and the Fit Board and can't seem to stop myself from playing it. It is such a good workout out that 2 - 3 hours go by and you are sweating to death but having a blast! I could hardly move yesterday because I over did it this weekend. I felt like a little kid at Christimas just waiting to get up and use it...LOL Whatever gets you motivated I guess. Sounds like everyone is doing good. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you all soon. Do you guys know when the clothes swap is? I am so ready to unload this stuff...my house is way to small for this stuff. Keep it up, Paige

    Any locals?

Wow!!! Sounds like you guys have been busy over the last few days. I hope to catch up with you guys on Tuesday at the meeting and walk on Wednesday if anyone wants to go to 40/896...it is so much easier with someone...so painful long and boring by yourself. Lynn is an awesome talker the time flies by...hope you can make it! Everyone keep up the good work so we can run around that path next year...LOL or at least look good walking around it in our cute little outfits..if it rains maybe we could do the mall as a back up? See you guys soon! Paige:smile2:

    Any locals?

What time are you guys going tomorrow? Call me or send me an e-mail I would love to go.
  6. I felt the same way the day I came home from the hospital with the pain and gas. It is alot to adjust to but it is worth it! Hang in there...also I realized that the tylenol with codine was making me go crazy and feel worse so you might want to check your pain meds? That was my issue and once I figured it out the next day was great.

Thanks Alicia! That is so cool that we got our banding done a day apart. How are things going? I just sent something to Hopeinapril to see maybe if we could walk on the weekends if you are interested. I am still pretty soar and it's hard to bend over but I am ready to work on the new me real soon  Talk to you soon, Paige

    Any locals?

Wow! Thanks for all the great information...I found out today that cottage cheese was something I could have so I am overwhelmed with excitement  It's only been a little over a week so I am still pretty soar and have started to walk on my treadmill inside...did 23 minutes today but the stomach started to hurt so I stopped. I would love to meet you there maybe next weekend on Saturday or Sunday if the weather is nice? My personal e-mail is paige@pohlcats.com if you want to talk more and set something up or swap phone numbers and we can play it by ear. Anyone else in the area who would like to go is more than welcome. I am just so excited to get out soon and do something. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you all have a great weekend. It is just so hard to learn new things to do besides eat....am I alone or are you guys going through the same things? Trying to relax and recoup but every other commerical is something to eat...it's hard to forget about it. Talk to you guys soon, Paige

    Any locals?

Hello All, This has been very helpful as I am still recovering and scheduled to go back to work on Monday..ughhh. Still a little nervous about the whole eating thing but it is getting easier each day and now I am almost able to bend over again :scared2: Do you guys have any other suggestions for the first month of liquids? I have found a few things on here but anything new to try or quick to take to work would be good. That was a great idea about the Protein...maybe I will get a bag just for work. The main thing with this whole new way of life is you have to be prepared you just can't go like the old times..or atleast that is how I feel right now. I am sure it gets easier. I would love to go for a walk in a few weeks when the weather is nice and I feel like I can walk more. Is that track off of the 273 that you were talking about? I think there are trails there too but have never walked them before. 896 and RT 40 they have a three mile trail which is really nice. Maybe we could set a date and all meet there sometime? Talk to you guys soon! Paige:lol:

    Any locals?

Hello All, It is great to see how much support you can get on this website. And is very incouraging that Dr. Iragua also did your surgery. I just got banded on the 2nd of April and am just getting use to everything. It was a little overwhelming the first few days but things are getting better every day and waist line is getting smaller. Maybe when the weather starts to get warmer we can do a walk or something together :huh2: This is my first post so hope I am doing it correctly...LOL Paige
