  1. I had surgery December 11th I was sleeved so I’m about six days post opp and I don’t feel discouraged if anything I’m just excited to get going and be in the swing of things. It’s totally okay with being nervous before your surgery trust me I was but the end results are gonna be so worth.

  2. Yesterday I was down as well over reading a post on a Facebook group. A gal posted that she had surgery ONE DAY before me on Dec 4th and she's lost 35 lbs SINCE surgery. What? wow, I have never heard this before. My husband says she's lying as I know some people embellish their results. More believable is 35 since she started. But in only 11 days? I think most of the people who read that post was not believing it. I can believe 30 in the first month. Anyone heard of 30 lbs in 10-11 days?

I heard like twenty within the first week depending on how big the individual is

  3. Yes, I had surgery the 4th and recovered well. Off pain meds day 3, no complications at all...... Except I'm hungry all time which I wasn't before. Nothing seems to satisfy it. I'm hoping that since I advance diet today it will be better. I licked a French fry the other night. I've dropped 20 lbs so far and I'm following my post op menu. Something's not right

I had surgery dec 11th so about five days out and the only incision that aches is the main one. I have absolutely no appetite lol but for some reason I want refried Beans lol!!! I licked a candy yesterday and felt totally defeated for doing it but I got on the scale this morning and seemed to have dropped more lbs it’s a mental thing I think

  4. as everyone else has said yes, the taste the first two weeks just is awful. But Water is your number one priority. (I tried propel Water and it helped a lot first two weeks for me) Reason for readmission is being dehydrated. (soft hug) I'm day 44 out from surgery and it is getting better albeit slowly. Be patient with yourself and the process (again easier said than done) go for short five or ten minute slow as heck walks find things you love to do sensory wise that will get your mind off of it. I took up knitting 2 years ago and am glad I did. Also, I highly recommend face to face flesh and blood support from those going through what you are.

Hannah! I am so glad to see this I totally agree water is so important I’ve been trying to intake as much as possible and it gets easier day by day!
