    Need advice on foods!!

I’m wondering if maybe I’m having trouble with dairy, although I’ve never had issues before. I wish this new stomach came with an instruction manual lol

    Need advice on foods!!

I am allowed plain yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, tuna, scrambled eggs, and avocados however all of these thing give me a really bad stomach ache!! I see that most people have been able to move up fairly easily but I am really struggling. [emoji24]
  6. I’m 20 days post-op and the only things I can tolerate are popsicles, chicken broth, cream of wheat, and vegetarian refried beans. I’ve tried other suggestions on my approved list but they cause a lot of pain when I eat and I feel miserable. Anybody have any suggestions or tips for me? Anything would be greatly appreciated!! Buddies Group - Surgery Dec 4 to 15, 2017

Hi friend! Had mine done on Dec 4th!!! 10 days post op! I’ve been battling too with the holidays. Although I’m not hungry, I’m craving all the yumminess I can’t have lol. The full liquid diet blows, however I was moved to the next step and I can eat scrambled eggs, cheese, mashed potatoes, tuna, avocados, and cream of wheat. Unfortunately, my stomach is have a really hard time with any of the dairy or eggs at this point. The only thing I ate that didn’t make me miserable is the cream of wheat. Other that that I’m struggling to come up with like a meal plan throughout the day. But I’m down 21lbs!!! Woooo!!!

    Middle back pain

I had my sleeve done on Dec 4th and today at my one week visit that was the main complaint I had! I don’t have the feeling going to my back but the best way I could describe it was a starving gnawing feeling although I’m not hungry. You’re right, it’s not painful but it is annoying and uncomfortable!! The only explanation he really gave me was that things are freaked out and trying to adjust and whatever I do, don’t try to remedy the sensation by eating because it will become an unhealthy habit. I know it’s not really an answer, but you are not alone!!!!!
